Today, on World TB Day, we're proud to announce something we believe the global health community has been waiting for: a novel technology transfer model. SystemOne is transferring full ownership of our Aspect™ diagnostic platform to Bangladesh's National TB Program, including the source code, server infrastructure, and the in-country engineers trained to run it and modify it into the future. By end of 2026, Bangladesh won't just be using the platform. They will own it. This matters because the conventional model is broken. When donor funding shifts, countries lose access to systems they depend on but don't control. We structured this engagement differently: a one-time technology and capacity transfer, not a recurring service contract. Build the road, don't rent it. What this looks like in practice: → 700+ GeneXpert instruments connected to a national data platform → 150 TrueNAT devices being added → Bangladesh-based engineers embedded in our team throughout the contract → Full source code, documentation, and DevOps capability transferred at close Bangladesh carries one of the world's highest TB burdens. Real-time diagnostic connectivity is not a luxury — it is the infrastructure that makes case detection, treatment monitoring, and outbreak response possible. And it needs to outlast any single funding cycle. We think this is what global health done right looks like. And we believe it's replicable.
