This year, as the Attica Fair celebrates 150 years, the Attica Historical Society chose to highlight the history of Sutton Bank in their booth at the Fair. They reached out to us for historical photographs, newspaper clippings and other memorabilia, and we were happy to share some pieces of Sutton’s history with them. Seeing these pieces of our past on display is a great reminder of just how deeply Sutton Bank and the Attica community have grown together over the years. We’re grateful to the Attica Historical Society for preserving and sharing our community’s history, and for choosing to feature Sutton Bank this year! If you haven’t made it to the Attica Fair yet, there’s still time! Stop out through Saturday, August 15, and enjoy the traditions that make the Fair such a special part of the Attica community.

Congratulations to Sutton Bank's 2026 Business/Finance Scholarship recipients! Each year, we're honored to support local students as they pursue degrees that will prepare them for careers in business, finance, and accounting. This year's six recipients join a tradition that began in 1990. Over the past 36 years, Sutton Bank has awarded more than $105,000 in scholarships to students throughout our communities. One of our favorite reminders of the impact these scholarships can have is the story of Sutton’s very own Maranda Kipp. In 2006, then-Maranda Moore was a Willard High School graduate who received a Sutton Bank scholarship as she began pursuing a Bachelor of Business degree at Wittenberg University. She later earned her CPA license and, years later, joined Sutton Bank in 2021 as a Financial Analyst. Today, she serves as our Controller. We love seeing how investing in local students can come full circle. To our 2026 scholarship recipients: Congratulations! We wish you every success as you begin this exciting new chapter. #CommunityBanking #Scholarships #InvestingInOurCommunities

We're proud to support the Franciscan Earth Literacy Center in Tiffin and its mission of providing hands-on environmental and STEM education for students throughout our region. The recent donation will help give students the opportunity to explore agriculture, science, nature and sustainability through engaging, hands-on learning experiences. Investing in educational opportunities for the next generation helps build stronger communities, and we're honored to be a part of that mission.
