Supporting food and agriculture companies with creating high-impact outcomes for business, people and environment

About us

Sustainable Food Group, part of the IPM Institute of America, exists to help food and agriculture companies and supply chains create high-impact, sustainable outcomes for their business, people and the environment. We do this through innovative research, tools to measure progress and by developing field-to-retailer programs that are tailored to balance the needs of all stakeholders. We leverage our on-farm insights, project management skills, supply chain expertise, network and 20 years of experience in agricultural sustainability to develop these projects. Our track record includes working with large food companies such as Sysco, Wholefoods Market, General Mills and McDonalds on large-scale sustainability projects and, for instance, reducing pesticide risks. Other current projects we're working on include: Supporting a company in the fruit industry become the sustainability leader in its sector; Developing and executing a global sustainable sourcing program for a spice retailer; Supporting apple growers with the adoption of advanced integrated pest management practices; Helping black pepper growers in Vietnam transition to organic; Working with a large range companies to reduce pesticide risks by developing supply chain audits, identifying pesticide risks and implementing practices to reduce these.
