At HFMA Region 8’s MASI, our team had the chance to connect with experienced healthcare leaders and operators. The roundtable discussion was thoughtful and candid. We discussed where automation is working well, where operations can improve, and how healthcare organizations and vendors can better serve patients. The highlight came when everyone joined together to build 52 bikes for Variety - the Children's Charity of Iowa, which are going to kids and young people with disabilities or facing disadvantage. It was amazing seeing how everyone was eager to help and make sure each bike was ready for its new rider. That sense of unity was definitely one of the strongest moments of the conference!

The era of “token maxxing” is ending. For a while, AI companies could point to more tokens, longer runtimes, and more activity as evidence of value. But customers are starting to ask the more important question: Did the work actually get done? At SuperDial, we’ve been building around that question from the beginning. Our goal has never been to maximize how long an agent stays on a call or how much compute it consumes. It is to return useful, structured information, or a clear next step that someone can act on. That focus on outcomes has helped customers like West Coast Dental Services significantly reduce their AR days, which is one of the clearest indicators of a healthier, more effective revenue cycle. The exact pricing mechanics vary by customer and workflow. But the principle behind the product is consistent: consumption is a cost of delivering the work, not the value of the work itself. Outcomes, over credits. A long call is not inherently more valuable than a short one. More tokens do not necessarily mean a better result. And an AI system completing a process does not matter if the output is wrong, incomplete, or unusable. The technology, retries, workflow, human support, and quality control required to produce a useful result are ours to figure out. Customers should not have to care how hard the system worked. They should care whether it worked. We’re hearing more people say that AI pricing will move away from raw consumption and toward outcomes. We agree. We’ve been on that wave for a while.

Today marks the last day of our Operations Intern, Jacob Blaustein, at SuperDial. He wrapped up his internship with an incredible presentation reflecting on his experience with us. We’re so proud of the growth Jake has shown throughout the summer and grateful for everything he contributed to the team.
