  • Our mission to enable safe, secure, and efficient autonomous flight for all is taking an exciting next step today. Boeing has announced an agreement for Archer to acquire SkyGrid, Wisk, and Insitu Inc. As part of this deal, Boeing will invest in Archer and establish an ongoing technology sharing collaboration. SkyGrid is highly complementary to the AI technologies Archer is developing. Our AI-powered airspace management software is in operational use today, and SkyGrid can be combined with ZEE, Archer’s aviation-specific AI foundation model, to create a new air traffic control product that helps modernize the airspace around the world. We’re excited for the opportunity to join forces with Archer after the deal closes and build a groundbreaking end-to-end physical AI platform for aerospace and defense. https://lnkd.in/gxKhE7Rq

  • Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) will involve automating aircraft, infrastructure, and the airspace. Human operators and controllers alone won’t be able to support the tempo and density of AAM operations, so leveraging automation will be essential to ensure safety at scale. At SkyGrid, autonomy is built into our service development, enabling system users to plan and manage operations in the evolving airspace. #SkyGrid #Autonomy #AAM #AutonomousFlight

Existing forecasting models were not designed with Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) in mind. Because low-altitude operations pose unique challenges, the industry needs new solutions before operations can scale. At Airspace World 2026, Jordan Cohen and Gabriele Enea presented SkyGrid and MIT Lincoln Laboratory's research on high-resolution weather forecasting for AAM. 🌦️ Through joint testing, we found that micro-resolution forecasting: 1️⃣ Eliminates False Hazards: Aligned within 88% of ground-truth usable airspace, while legacy models were off by nearly 20%. 2️⃣ Protects Flight Plans: Accurately detects 4D route conflicts without penalizing safe flight paths. 3️⃣ Informs Future Policy: Provides the empirical data needed to establish missing industry weather standards. We’re building the autonomous aircraft, and SkyGrid is building the digital traffic management system to integrate it. Together, we’re laying the foundational framework required to modernize global airspace for autonomous flight. 🛫 Wisk: Developing the world's first self-flying, all-electric, four-seat passenger eVTOL designed to meet commercial certification standards. 🌐 SkyGrid: Providing the traffic management platform that integrates aeronautical and environmental data, offering operators a comprehensive view of the airspace. Safe autonomous flight takes a smart aircraft and a smart airspace. We're delivering both. #Airspace | #Autonomy | #AAM

  • Meet Alfredo Giuliano, Chief Innovation Officer at SkyGrid! For the past four years, Alfredo has helped shape SkyGrid’s long-term product strategy by anticipating how the evolution of airspace operations will drive demand for new digital services. He tracks the maturity of the technologies required to enable those services—from artificial intelligence and autonomy to communications, sensing, and computing—ensuring that product evolution remains aligned with technological readiness. By balancing future operational needs with technology maturity, he guides the introduction of innovative capabilities that deliver meaningful operational value, fosters a culture of innovation, and helps grow SkyGrid's intellectual property portfolio. Outside of work, you can find Alfredo racing sailboats on Lake Maggiore or freediving. At SkyGrid, you’re solving hard problems alongside a diverse and passionate team. • Third-Party Service Providers (TSPs) like SkyGrid are the digital backbone of Advanced Air Mobility (AAM), delivering key decision support and surveillance services for new operations. But as a central system, this makes TSPs targets for cyber-physical threats. The NIST Cybersecurity Framework provides the most robust, adaptable model for TSP environments. The NIST CSF is not constrained to onboard systems, and it scales across architectures, hosting environments, and threat categories. ⬇️ Read more below and learn more in our cybersecurity white paper: https://lnkd.in/gbfpe7kd #SkyGrid #TSP #AAM #Cyber

Scaling Advanced Air Mobility requires the ability to safely manage multiple autonomous aircraft in complex, shared airspace. The recent simulation by Wisk and NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration establishes an important operational benchmark by demonstrating a successful 1:3 supervisor-to-aircraft ratio under Instrument Flight Rules. Validating this remote supervision workflow alongside traditional Air Traffic Control provides the data needed to inform future flight policies and airspace rules. High-workload testing with real-world flight simulations is a necessary step toward digital airspace modernization and everyday autonomous flight.

1 Supervisor. 3 Autonomous Aircraft. We connected our Autonomy Lab directly with NASA’s Air Traffic Control labs to conduct a simulation campaign on our 1:3 supervisor-to-aircraft ratio. During the campaign, we substantiated that a single ground-based supervisor can manage three autonomous air taxis simultaneously as they fly simulated routes alongside traditional air traffic in busy airspace. These findings provide important information to help shape future policy for autonomous aviation. Thank you, NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration for your continued trust and partnership! We look forward to collaborating on future simulations. ✈️ Learn more in the press release linked in the comments.
