The expectations for how we build and manage our work has fundamentally changed. The systems we all worked in before were loosely connected, but now we expect them to be tightly connected. For Sigma, this means being able to send data to and from Sigma to other systems and building Sigma workbooks in Claude (or via whatever agent you choose). Check out the video below to see how were making that a reality.

Everyone's talking about AI speeding up finance. Turns out one of the simplest changes matters just as much: everyone seeing the same data, in real time. Sigma CFO Christina Liu explains what quarter-end looked like before Sigma. Closing a quarter meant daily, sometimes multiple daily, calls between sales, finance, legal, sales operations and marketing, just to agree on where deals stood. At Sigma, those calls aren't needed. "We have the data right in front of us," Christina says. "Everyone can have access to real-time updates on where we are for each one of our deals before quarter-end." The upside goes beyond fewer meetings. Finance catches risk earlier, sales sees stalled deals sooner, and Legal steps in before a small issue becomes a big one. Nobody's reconstructing what happened. The team focuses on what's next. Listen to the full episode of The Growth-Minded CFO Podcast: https://lnkd.in/gqdcR_ec

As summer winds down, our Sigma interns are wrapping up a season of building across analytics, apps, and agents at our New York and San Francisco offices. They didn't just shadow. They dug in, asked hard questions, and ran projects for our AI Labs, Operations, Data Platform, and Engineering teams. Today, they capped it off with a showcase at our annual Hackathon. Huge congrats to our Sigma interns on an incredible summer of building!

Sigma Tenants is now generally available. Sigma Tenants let you split one Sigma organization into fully isolated environments, each with its own users, data and content, while a parent organization keeps governance and visibility in one place. Permissions can be reconfigured by anyone with access to change them—but architecture can't. Sigma Tenants builds isolation into the architecture itself, so it holds no matter what anyone does inside a tenant. 🔒 Hundreds of customers already use Sigma Tenants to: ▪️ Separate business units ▪️ Run dev, staging and production pipelines ▪️ Give every embedded customer their own isolated organization See the full breakdown by Product Manager Colin Dolese and Software Engineer Joseph Schumanhttps://lnkd.in/gMaVG96q

If you've ever found a margin variance in the P&L and then spent 2 weeks chasing the fix across spreadsheets and email threads, this one's for you. This example app built on Sigma keeps the whole loop in one place: 1. Find the variance in a live P&L 2. Ask a warehouse agent what's driving it 3. Trace it to the SKUs that own it 4. Log the corrective action, and let an agent write the fix back to the warehouse Everything runs on governed data inherited from the cloud data warehouse, so a Q3 miss becomes a corrected 2027 forecast without anyone leaving the P&L. We're deepening our partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to make it easier to build AI Apps and agents on the data already sitting in your AWS warehouse. Sigma has signed a multi-year strategic collaboration agreement with AWS, aligning go-to-market and co-selling so enterprises can buy, deploy, and scale Sigma on the cloud they already run on. Customers like United Rentals already rely on Sigma to explore and act on their business data on AWS. Mark Bishop, Director, Enterprise Reporting & Analytics, United Rentals says, “At United Rentals, data is central to how our teams deliver productivity and predictability to our customers. We collaborate with AWS across our data and AI initiatives and rely on Sigma to help users quickly explore and act on business data. As Sigma strengthens its collaboration with AWS, we see meaningful opportunities to unlock additional value.” Read the announcement here: https://lnkd.in/eHEkg5EX

Sigma dashboards and full data applications entirely from Claude Code Fed it a few companies, and it spun up on-brand dashboards with custom visuals in minutes. Then took it further with a scenario modeling app for Ford -adjust EV mix or material costs, watch it write straight back to the warehouse and update every visual downstream. Same native Sigma under the hood (drill-downs, AI chat, live SQL) - just a completely different way of building it. #Sigma #AI #DataApps #ClaudeCode

The bulk insert action is live in public beta. Now a single action inserts as many rows as you want into an Input Table. That opens up a few things teams have been asking for: ▪️Start a new scenario as a clone of the last one, then change only what's different ▪️Freeze a live table from your warehouse as a point-in-time snapshot you can report on later ▪️Take one form submission and write several rows from it The finance team will already love headcount planning with this new capability. Before, building a full-year plan used to mean 2 days of stitching spreadsheets together. Now, they can copy the current roster and its assumptions into a new Input Table and start from a governed baseline.
