This is a searchable, procurement-ready directory that organizes publicly available accessibility information for widely used edtech products. The directory currently includes approximately 50 products and is continually expanding. The commitment is estimated to take up to 90 minutes of your time: 15-30 minutes of individual preparation followed by participation in a 60-minute virtual focus group meeting. The House Education and Workforce Committee held a hearing last week examining school district policies on parental notification, student privacy, instructional materials, and broader school governance issues. District leaders from several large systems discussed how they navigate the use of students’ preferred names and pronouns, communication with families, access to school facilities, and the management of instructional materials and student records—all while balancing parental engagement with state and federal requirements.
