From production at our shipyard in Franklin, Louisiana to our new testing and commissioning site in Gulfport, Mississippi. Our first Marauder has already logged hundreds of hours of on-water testing, with additional vessels set to follow the same path as production continues to scale.

As production of Marauder continues to scale, we're expanding the infrastructure that supports every vessel from shipyard to delivery. We're announcing our expansion to Gulfport, Mississippi, where we've established a dedicated Marauder on-water testing and commissioning facility at the Port of Gulfport. Our first Marauder is already undergoing on-water testing at the site, with trials running 12+ hours a day, seven days a week. Additional Marauders under construction at our shipyard in Franklin, Louisiana will follow the same path to Gulfport as production ramps. Thank you to Chairman Roger Wicker, leadership from the Port of Gulfport and The University of Southern Mississippi, and representatives from the offices of Governor Tate Reeves, Senator Cindy Hyde-Smith and Congressman Mike Ezell for joining us on site to mark the facility opening. We're proud to continue investing across the Gulf Coast. Read more here: https://lnkd.in/gzayQrRR

"Every person that walks through the door every single day, is quite literally changing the world." Two of our co-founders, CEO Dino Mavrookas and CTO Vibhav A., joined Jason Calacanis on the All-In Podcast to discuss how Saronic is building differently. They close on why revitalizing America's maritime industrial base is our generation's space race: a problem the country has solved before, at a scale it hasn't attempted since World War II, and one it can't afford to lose. Marauder on-water testing is in full swing. The team took Marauder from initial design to on-water trials in under 12 months. Now we're running it on the water 12+ hours a day, seven days a week, proving out the autonomy at range and in conditions that don't cooperate. We're pushing the system hard - it's the same bar we've held on every vessel we've fielded, and we're holding it here. We're putting in the work that matters and we're glad to be doing it.

Ahead of "National Hire a Veteran Day," we're spotlighting one of our proud veterans - Glenn Meyer, Director of Supply Chain Strategy. Glenn served in the US Army and studied Engineering Management at the U.S. Military Academy, West Point. After working at large tech companies, he joined Saronic to lead the supply chain strategy — overseeing production materials, commodity management, supplier development, and cost engineering across every program and site. Come meet Glenn and the team at the Service Academy Career Conference (SACC) in San Diego, August 6–7.

Today, we're announcing a strategic partnership with Samsung Heavy Industries to accelerate the development of autonomy-capable maritime systems and technologies that strengthen America's shipbuilding industrial base. Building on our shared strengths in maritime autonomy and shipbuilding, we will explore advanced development of autonomy, AI-powered digital solutions, and production infrastructure, including robotics-based process automation across our shipyards. We're proud to have announced this partnership at the U.S. Department of Commerce event recognizing the launch of the Korea–U.S. Shipbuilding Partnership Center (KUSPC). Thank you Secretary Howard W. Lutnick and Minister Kim Jung-kwan for joining us to advance allied shipbuilding collaboration. Learn more here: https://lnkd.in/eZAJWH2s

"We don't have to beat China in the traditional sense. We're going to outproduce China by building autonomous vessels, building software-defined platforms, and building new shipyards more efficiently." Our Co-founder and CEO Dino Mavrookas joined Fox Business Network to discuss why production capacity is a strategic advantage. Restoring American shipbuilding means building differently — combining software-defined platforms, autonomous systems, and modern manufacturing to deliver hybrid fleets faster and at scale. Today, we're proud to announce the future home of Port Alpha: Brownsville, Texas. Our next-generation shipyard moves from vision to reality through a planned investment of more than $3 billion to establish one of the world's most advanced shipyards, built for software-defined shipbuilding and autonomous maritime systems. Port Alpha is expected to generate more than $160 billion in regional economic impact for Cameron County and $264.5 billion for the State of Texas, while creating up to 10,000 direct jobs — which makes it one of the largest economic development projects in modern Texas history. More than a shipyard, Port Alpha represents a new model for American shipbuilding — combining advanced manufacturing, software-defined production, and autonomy at unprecedented scale. We're proud to continue building in Texas. Learn more: https://lnkd.in/eDNNw7i9
