Wise & Healthy Aging is one of Saint John's Community Impact Fund partners. Wise & Healthy Aging, a Santa Monica-based organization, advances the dignity and quality of life of older adults through leadership, advocacy and high-quality, innovative services. Annually, WISE serves more than 20,000 individuals aged 50+ offering social programming, hot lunches, care for older adults with memory loss, care management, peer counseling, and advocacy through their elder abuse prevention and Long-Term Care Ombudsman programs. Saint John's Health Center Foundation distributes more than $2 million a year to local nonprofit partners focused on improving the health and well-being of our community. The 20th annual Think Pink for Women’s Wellness boutique and luncheon was a huge success! Congrats to the Irene Dunne Guild on an inspiring morning focused on women’s health that featured a keynote conversation with Providence Saint John's Health Center’s Women’s Health & Wellness Institute Executive Medical Director Dr. Ruth Sorotzkin and Maria Shriver, an award-winning journalist, author, and leading advocate for women’s health. The event also announced the naming of the Maria Shriver Labor, Delivery and Family Wellness Unit at Saint John’s, reinforcing the health center’s longstanding commitment to holistic, family-centered maternity care.
