Congratulations to Keegan Foerster, a 2025 WJKHC Safety Award recipient. Keegan started at Rock Road right out of high school. Ten years later, he's a grading foreman who kept his crew safe and the project on track every day of the 2025 HWY 51 project, work that came with high traffic and multiple high-pressure gas pipelines running through the site. That's ten years of learning this trade the right way.

Summer means parades, festivals, farmers markets, and parking lots full of people. The infrastructure that makes all of it possible, the roads, the paved lots, the access points, doesn't get a lot of applause. That's fine with us. We build it to last, not to be noticed. From our quarries to your community. Rock Road Companies.

We are excited to pave the way for you, Green County!
Partnering for progress in Green County 🤝 At Vierbicher, we take pride in helping local communities turn long-term infrastructure vision to reality. We are glad to share some good news: County Highway FF in Green County is slated for reconstruction.🛣️ Rural roads are the backbone of our communities, but paying to maintain and rebuild them is a real challenge for local governments. Our team worked closely with Green County to pursue and secure an Agricultural Roads Improvement Program (ARIP) grant through the Wisconsin DOT, a program built to upgrade rural roads that carry agricultural traffic. The result: a 90/10 award. The state covers up to 90 percent of eligible project costs, and the county covers just 10 percent. That funding moves a needed road upgrade off the wishlist and into production. The good news does not stop at the county line. The Town of Sylvester earned its own ARIP award for Ladwig Road in the 2024-25 budget cycle and turned to our team to administer the funding requirements and coordinate that reconstruction with CTH FF. Sequencing the two projects together maximizes efficiency and generates additional savings for taxpayers. What makes this effort stand out is how every dollar is being stretched: ✅ Keeping it in-house. The grant allows the County Highway Department to self-perform the reconstruction. ✅ Local pride. The same crew that drives these roads every day will be the one rebuilding them. ✅ Smart budgeting. Doing the work in-house saves significant dollars and allows the county to build reserves for future equipment, without asking taxpayers for more down the road. This is what happens when good policy, strong partnerships, and local talent line up. We are proud to help protect the long-term financial health of Green County and the Town of Sylvester while paving the way for safer, more reliable roads. Congratulations to Green County leadership, the Town of Sylvester, and the Highway Department crew for bringing this one to life. Now the real work begins. 💪 Pictured (L-R): Bob Kennedy, President, Rock Road Companies, Inc.; Nicholas Owen, Green County Administrator; Anna Anderson, Chair, Town of Sylvester; Jerry Guth, Chair, Green County Board of Supervisors; Chris Narveson, Green County Highway Commissioner; Duane Zimmerman, Chair, Town of Monroe; Senator Howard Marklein; Russ Torkelson, Chair, Green County Highway Commission; Timothy Schleeper, PE, Engineering Services Manager, Vierbicher #Vierbicher #CivilEngineering #Infrastructure #GrantFunding #LocalGovernment #GreenCounty #ARIP

If you manage a commercial property, our friends at Wolf Paving published something for you. Their blog covers the top three parking lot preventative maintenance moves that can extend pavement life and save on long-term costs. It's practical, specific, and worth sharing with whoever handles your facility. https://lnkd.in/eJCyRPNx

Most paving contractors buy their aggregate from someone else. We produce our own. From our privately-owned quarries through final quality assurance, we control every phase of the process. That means consistent material, tighter specs, and a finished surface that performs the way it's supposed to, because we never handed the variables to someone else. Infrastructure you can trust starts before the first truck rolls. That's how we build.

The Ho-Chunk Casino project started with ground-level decisions: grading, utilities, subsurface work, and a plan built to last before a single paving machine ever rolled in. These photos tell the story we're most proud of, the part that happens before the ribbon gets cut. Comprehensive site development. Aggregate we produce ourselves. Paving we execute to spec, every time. When the final surface goes down smooth, it's because everything underneath was done right. That's how Rock Road builds. From the ground up.

There's nothing quite like a before and after. Worn out. Cracked. Unsafe. Then: smooth, clean, built to last. This one's still in progress but even mid-project, you can see the difference taking shape. We never get tired of that transformation, and neither do the communities and businesses we build for.
