July 2026 demonstrated the extraordinary scale of global aviation—and the power of one remarkable flight to capture worldwide attention. On 23 July, Flightradar24 tracked 153,359 commercial flights, the most we have ever tracked in a single day. In total, we tracked 287,364 flights that day, our second highest total. Five days later, 3,652,947 people followed the Airbus A350-1000ULR’s record-breaking 24-hour journey from Melbourne to Toulouse, making it the second-most-tracked flight in Flightradar24 history. From 153,359 commercial flights to one aircraft watched by millions, July was a record-setting month for flight tracking.
