Meeting evolving threats requires delivering critical defense capabilities at greater speed and scale. RTX is working alongside Boeing and the United States Department of War to speed production of key SM-3 components—advancing the framework agreements signed earlier this year. The SM-3 family of interceptors plays a critical role in the US Navy’s missile defense mission, helping protect the fleet against ballistic missiles and other advanced threats. Countering evolving drone threats takes more than a single capability—it requires an integrated defense. Raytheon's Ku-band Radio Frequency Sensor (KuRFS) and the Coyote family of effectors work together to provide the critical detect-and-defeat capabilities behind LIDS, the US Army's trusted counter-UAS solution. Designed to rapidly identify, track and defeat unmanned aircraft systems, Raytheon's combat-proven counter-UAS systems help protect forces against today's threats while adapting for tomorrow's battlespace. Advancing the next generation of regional defense takes greater reach, faster engagements and expanded protection. Following a new Missile Defense Agency contract for production and sustainment, Raytheon continues advancing Standard Missile-3 Block IIA (SM‑3 IIA) interceptors—co-developed with Japanese industry and featuring a larger rocket motor and enhanced kinetic warhead to defend larger regions against evolving ballistic missile threats. "SM-3 Block IIA is a cornerstone of regional defense, giving the U.S. and allied partners greater reach, accuracy and confidence against evolving threats," said Barbara Borgonovi, president of Naval Power at Raytheon. "We've made sustained investments in our production lines and processes, which are allowing us to increase capacity and deliver these critical munitions to our customers more quickly." A first-of-its-kind demonstration is advancing autonomous undersea operations. Raytheon and Composite Energy Technologies successfully demonstrated the undersea launch capabilities of HADALUS, a low-cost, long-endurance unmanned undersea vehicle (UUV) with more than 2,000 nautical miles of endurance, during a recent US Navy exercise. The milestone marks the first time the Navy has seen this integrated capability in the water—pointing toward a future where a single unmanned platform can detect, reacquire and engage within one mission. From concept to an in-water prototype in less than 18 months, HADALUS demonstrates how rapid design, integration and at-sea experimentation can accelerate autonomous undersea technology to the fleet. Delivering the next generation of radar capability to the fleet. Raytheon has reached a key milestone in supporting the U.S. Navy's Flight IIA Destroyer modernization effort with the delivery and installation of the first SPY-6(V)4 radar array at the Surface Combat Systems Center in Wallops Island, Virginia. The site will support testing and integration of the radar, power system and combat system interfaces before installation aboard USS Pinckney (DDG 91), the first Flight IIA destroyer to receive SPY-6(V)4.

Raytheon's DeepFires autonomous launcher is designed to give the U.S. Army the flexibility to adapt as mission requirements evolve. Built with a modular architecture, DeepFires can be rapidly reconfigured for offensive and defensive operations while integrating a range of effectors, including Tomahawk and Patriot missiles, to meet future fires requirements. That adaptability was recently demonstrated during Project Convergence Capstone 6 (PCC6), where DeepFires helped U.S. Army soldiers evaluate future warfighting concepts and emerging capabilities in a realistic, combat-like environment. Developed in collaboration with Forterra, Oshkosh Defense, Corvid Technologies and Collins Aerospace, DeepFires combines expertise in autonomy, vehicle integration and advanced technologies to help shape the Army's next generation of fires. Delivering advanced sensing capability at speed is critical to helping the US Navy stay ahead of evolving threats. Our ability to deliver advanced, reliable and scalable radar solutions continues to grow as we accelerate production of the SPY-6 family of radars. Already aboard two commissioned U.S. Navy ships and installed on 11 others undergoing testing, SPY-6 is expected to equip more than 50 U.S. Navy ships over the next decade with unmatched sensing capability and multi-mission readiness.
