The scholarships support students pursuing education and research in automation, instrumentation, systems and control, including tuition, research activities and related expenses. Subsea flexible pipe manufacturing capacity is expanding. NOV has announced a $200 million investment to roughly double the capacity of its subsea flexible pipe manufacturing facility in Açu, Brazil, over the next three years. According to the company, the expansion is intended to support sustained long-term demand from deepwater developments and the replacement cycle for flexible pipe installations. NOV also stated that the expansion will position the facility to introduce its CO₂-resistant subsea flexible pipe for high-CO₂ applications.
