Waveguide and coaxial ferrite components optimized for high-power, low-loss RF systems.
About us
M-Wave Design was founded in 1988 to design and manufacture waveguide hardware for a group of loyal customers. Over the years our products have expanded to include Adapters, Transitions, Terminations, Isolators, Circulators, Couplers, Filters, and other passive components in Waveguide and Coaxial configurations. We also offer “super-components” containing integrated functions for increased efficiencies at lower cost. We specialize in small run custom microwave components with superior performance and competitive costing. We support our customer’s needs from “one-off” requirements for a test set or evaluation, through large quantity production support. Our job is to make your job easier, by providing the building blocks to exceed requirements.

🚀 What helped keep the Mars rover communicating reliably for years on the Martian surface? Isolators. These ferrite-based, non-reciprocal components quietly protect RF systems from reflected power, instability, and performance degradation—making them critical in demanding environments from space to high-power communications systems. Join Ken Boswell, Director of Business Development at M-Wave Design, for our upcoming webinar on Ferrite Isolators and Circulators and their role in modern RF design. Ken will cover the fundamentals, their evolution from early radar systems to modern GaN and phased-array platforms, practical considerations for integration, and offer a live Q&A. 📅 March 25 | 11:00 AM EDT 🔗 Register today: https://ow.ly/KA8m50YtC1z #RFEngineering #MicrowaveEngineering #RFDesign #Webinar

Isolators and circulators are often overlooked in RF system design—until instability, reflected power, or performance issues appear. Join Ken Boswell, Director of Business Development at M-Wave Design, for a webinar looking at how ferrite-based, non-reciprocal components protect amplifiers, stabilize transmit chains, and improve overall RF system robustness. This webinar, "Ferrite Isolators and Circulators: Past Foundations, Present Performance" will cover the fundamentals of isolators and circulators, their evolution from early radar systems to modern GaN and phased-array platforms, and the key design considerations engineers should understand early in the development cycle. 📅 Wednesday, March 25, 2026 ⏰ 11:00 AM ET 🔗 Register today: https://ow.ly/7XIn50YtBwT #RFDesign #MicrowaveEngineering #Ferrite #RFComponents #Webinar

In RF systems, instability and reflected power often show up late in the design cycle, when they’re hardest to fix. Ferrite isolators and circulators are key components for protecting amplifiers, stabilizing transmit chains, and managing VSWR interactions. Join Ken Boswell (Director of Business Development, M-Wave Design) for our upcoming webinar, "Ferrite Isolators and Circulators: Past Foundations, Present Performance" as he breaks down the fundamentals of these non-reciprocal devices and how they fit into modern RF systems. 📅 March 25 | 11:00 AM ET 🔗 Register at: https://ow.ly/OZ2P50YtBFx #RFEngineering #MicrowaveEngineering #RFDesign #Webinar

Following our cross-organization August Month of Giving, we were honored to attend the dedication of a new Fisher House in Little Rock, Arkansas. This new home provides no-cost lodging for Veterans’ families while their loved ones receive medical care, helping to ease the burden during challenging times and reinforcing the importance of care that extends beyond the patient. We’re grateful to the Fisher House Foundation and all who make this kind of impact possible. 💙 To learn more about this organization and ways to give, visit: https://fisherhouse.org/ #MonthOfGiving #FisherHouseFoundation #VeteransSupport #CommunityImpact
