Big news for families, young athletes, and the next generation of skiers and riders at Powder Mountain. Starting with the 2026/27 season, we're introducing several new initiatives designed to make mountain access more affordable and create new opportunities for youth development: 🎿 Kids Ski Free – Adult season pass holders can receive up to two complimentary youth passes for children 12 and under. 🏂 Expanded Teen Pass Access – New pricing for skiers and riders ages 13–18 across multiple pass products, reducing season pass costs by up to $300. ⛷️ Powder Ski & Ride Team – A new competitive freeride program that provides young athletes with structured coaching, team development, and a pathway into freeride competition. Team registration is open. As a community-focused mountain, we're committed to ensuring that families continue to have access to the sport and that young athletes have opportunities to grow, progress, and thrive on snow. Summer operations are underway at Powder Mountain. We have a lot of exciting developments to share - here’s just a few summer trail highlights. More on the blog ➡️https://lnkd.in/gZ992ysH Sidewinder Trail / Open Now We partnered with Eden Valley Trails to replace a section of Sidewinder — a four-mile loop on the foothills below Powder Mountain. Eden Valley Trails has completed the reroute and it is ready to ride including access for adaptive bikes. Powder was honored to donate $5,000 to help complete the loop, making the full trail rideable for everyone. East Brim Trail / Est. Opening: Early July Due to ongoing residential construction, Brim Trail has been slightly rerouted in certain areas. This season, riders can access a 3-mile loop via a new trailhead: follow Paper Airplane to Summit Pass Road to Shelter Hill Road to reach it. The full 7-mile loop will reopen next summer once construction on the second leg is complete, and remain open to the public.   Art Loop / Est. Opening: Late June Our first trail segment of Powder Art Foundation’s Art Loop will soft open this summer, allowing guests to hike a 2-mile loop in the Hidden Lake area and view select artworks, including Phase of Nothingness - Stone Stack, 1970/2025 by Nobuo Sekine. Other Trails This summer, Powder Mountain is investing over $1 million in constructing 16.9 miles of new public trails. Work is currently underway on a new multi-purpose trail to the summit of James Peak, and an expansion of the Art Loop, a hiking-only trail connecting guests to mountain art installations. Opening dates for both will be announced as construction progresses.

We’re excited to announce Bill Cubbage as Powder Mountain’s new General Manager of Resort Operations. Bill brings more than two decades of ski resort leadership experience to the role, with a career dedicated to mountain operations, guest experience, and team development. Before joining Powder Mountain, Bill spent 15 years at Whitefish Mountain Resort, serving as both Director of Mountain Operations and Snow Sports Director, helping guide one of North America’s most respected independent ski areas. His experience also includes leadership positions at Tamarack Resort and Vail Resorts, where he developed expertise across mountain operations, recreation management, and ski & snowboard school programming. Since joining Powder Mountain in 2024 as Director of Mountain Operations, Bill has played a key role in advancing operational excellence across the resort. As General Manager, he will oversee resort operations while helping lead Powder through its next phase of growth and innovation. Bill’s passion for skiing, commitment to exceptional guest experiences, and proven leadership make him uniquely positioned to guide Powder Mountain into the future.
