Planful

The last few months have been some of the most difficult of my life. My family and I have been navigating some challenging circumstances, some of which we’re still working through today. Despite everything happening outside of work, I was fortunate to finish H1 as Planful's Top Revenue Producer. I’m really grateful for the people I work with. Planful gave me the support, understanding, and space I needed to prioritize my family during a really difficult time. A special thank you to Melissa Dreuth, Allison Garvey, Kinjal Patel, and Erin Bassi for all of your support throughout these past few months. With everything still going on, I wasn’t able to attend our Sales Kickoff in person, so I received the recognition virtually instead. Planful also surprised me with a Breitling Superocean. I’ve never really been a watch person, but maybe I am now! This will always be special to me. I received it during a life-changing chapter, and it’ll always remind me of the people who supported me through it.

Last week we had our QBR in Chicago! It was so nice to see everyone in person, the conversations, collaboration and shared momentum is something you can’t fully replicate over Zoom. It really reiterated how strong our culture is here at Planful! I’m leaving this past week feeling super motivated and grateful to be part of such a great team. We had a ton of fun but more importantly we also learned a lot and walked away even more aligned!

Culture - (definition) the shared way of life for a group of people, including their beliefs, values, and customs. This week the Planful Global GTM Team and ELT came together to kickoff our H2 in Chicago. We celebrated a great H1, talked candidly about our challenges and opportunities, and came together on what we believe about this company, and how we will collectively work together towards a common set of values and goals. This is how you build culture and it’s exciting to see the positivity and energy that comes from uniting around things you believe. In just a short time I have come to believe in the ability of this energetic and talented group of people to transform a category. The best is yet to come! Just got back from an incredible QBR in Chicago with my amazing team at Planful! 💜 A fun full-circle moment: for the past two years I've had a tiny replica of The Bean on my car keys. It's been one of those landmarks I've always wanted to see, and I finally got to experience it in person. Safe to say it absolutely lived up to the hype!!! This week was about so much more than the city, though. Planful put together an incredible event filled with connection, collaboration, strategy, and a shared excitement for what's ahead. It was incredible to spend time with teammates from across the company, learn from one another, celebrate our successes, and align on the vision for the year ahead. I'm incredibly grateful to be part of a company that invests so much in its people and creates opportunities like this to learn, grow, and build meaningful relationships. It's hard to believe I've been with Planful for almost a year and a half already, and I'm excited for everything that's still to come. Feeling energized, motivated, and ready for what's next. I’m not usually one to share personal updates on LinkedIn, but this past week was one I had to share. I recently joined Planful and was lucky to onboard just in time for our H2 kickoff in Chicago. Having attended my fair share of QBRs and sales kickoffs over the years, this one truly set a new benchmark. I left Chicago not only with a clear view of leadership’s vision and goals for the second half, but also with actionable strategies to sharpen my day-to-day execution. More importantly, I had the chance to experience firsthand the community that defines this company. I heard the team rave about culture & community during my interview process, and now I understand why. Witnessing how genuinely my new teammates care for one another — and for the business we are building together — left me inspired and energized. While there are far too many people to thank for the last week, I have to give a special thank you to Kyle Myers for bringing me onto this team, and selling me on this organization — you were right about every bit of it, and I’m thrilled to be here.
