  • PGA TOUR Studios will pilot a new announcer-free stream during this week’s Rocket Classic, leaning into player caddie conversations, crowd reactions and natural course audio. The stream, "Marquee Group: Quiet Please," will debut Thursday as a new PGA TOUR LIVE stream on ESPN+. The feed will be available for all four rounds at Detroit Golf Club. Storytelling elements, enhanced graphics and real-time statistics will be delivered visually — rather than through announcers — to maintain focus on player-caddie interaction and perspective from the field of play. https://lnkd.in/dccpw83m

  • Five months before Steven Fisk earned his first PGA TOUR title at the 2025 Sanderson Farms Championship, his dad Christopher passed away after battling pancreatic cancer. Christopher Fisk operated a par-3 course outside Atlanta where Steven fell in love with golf, sparking a shared dream that led the younger Fisk to the PGA TOUR, where he is now a two-time winner. "My dad gave me every opportunity you could ever want, and to be out here now, living the dream that he and I always envisioned, I wish he was here to see it, but it’s one of those things you can't change," Fisk said this week. "I think about him every day and would like to think that he sees every good and bad shot I hit, even now. I just miss him." Longtime 3M Open volunteer Josh Swanson, who has volunteered at professional golf events since 1993 at age 11, was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in May 2025 but insisted on continuing his volunteer leadership duties while undergoing regular cancer treatments. Swanson was later named 2025 PGA TOUR Volunteer of the Year. Fisk learned of Swanson's story and upon arriving in Minnesota this week, asked if he could say hi. The two chatted on Tuesday afternoon at TPC Twin Cities, where Swanson gratefully told Fisk that he is now cancer-free. "Seeing somebody that went through the same thing (as my dad) essentially and come out on the other side is really cool," Fisk said. "It’s nice to see that that can be done ... (Josh and wife Katie) are wonderful people and I wish them nothing but the best."
