Founders have shared 21,500 pitch decks through Papermark. The yearly split is what I keep looking at: 2023: 258 2024: 2,729 2025: 9,296 2026: 9,225 - and it's only August We're 71 decks away from matching all of last year, with four months still to go. In 2023 that number was about five decks a week. This year it's 41 a day. One every 35 minutes, and that average doesn't stop overnight, because the people using it aren't in one timezone. Somebody is sending their round to an investor at 2am my time, on a Sunday, from a city I've never been to. Behind each one is somebody who spent three weeks on Problem slide. Who rewrote the market size after a call went badly. Who is refreshing the analytics page right now to see whether the partner actually got past page 6, or stopped where everyone stops. I've been on that side of it. Checking a dashboard at midnight, reading meaning into how long someone spent on the team slide. It's not a great way to live and every founder raising money does it anyway. 21,500 rounds, or attempts at rounds. Most of them didn't close. A few of them turned into companies that will raise again next year, and they'll come back and do this a second time. Somewhere in the next 35 minutes, someone is going to share theirs for the first time.

$3M ARR! It took us 18 months to reach $1M 6 more months to reach $2M 4 more months to reach $3M
It’s not the speed Harry Stebbings asks for but it’s life changing speed for me personally. The core focus didn’t change: customers. I still reply to each support request myself. We are shipping to production (almost) every day. Every dinner we discuss ways to grow Papermark Now, we can afford $10 coffees without feeling guilty (maybe a little) What changed: - Tens of thousands of teams signed up - Millions of viewed data rooms and documents - Billions in deal volume running through Papermark The greatest joy is that we built a product people love and use every day. Our customers trust us with their most confidential deals. $10M next

$8.5M raised. 2 founders. 4 months in. Founder of River Markets Oscar Levy shared with me 3 core advices which helped them raise their $8.5M seed, led by Haun Ventures 1. Be clear in your pitch and your use of funds: Investors need to understand what you're building and exactly where the money goes. River Markets (YC P26) answer was simple: unified execution and risk across every prediction-market venue, and the capital goes to engineers, faster trading systems, and the sales team to serve professional clients. No ambiguity. 2. Investor sequencing is extremely important: The order you talk to investors in decides the outcome. Who you close first shapes who you can reach next. Their round closed in July with Haun Ventures leading, then Y Combinator, Coinbase Ventures, QRT, Cherry Ventures, Kima and TENET followed. 3. Small angel checks can lead to bigger intros: A small check from the right person is worth more than the money. River Markets ended up with angels from Citadel, JP Morgan, Google, NVIDIA, HRT and Tower Research exactly the world their institutional customers live in. I personally think small checks can often being underrated, as fundraising process is a lot about building the connections through the warm intros. And angel investors as a first believers can be very supportive. Oscar also shared how they use Papermark in fundraising process: "Papermark helped us structure, send and monitor investor interest. Extremely good to see which slides were eye catching or boring." Thanks for the trust 🤝 River Markets is already live, so check this: • Financial infrastructure for prediction markets • $8.5M seed, led by Haun Ventures • Founded 4 months ago by Oscar and Antonin Parrot • Used by several top-10 traders by volume on Kalshi and Polymarket • Based in San Francisco Hugeeee congrats to the team 👏

  • Congrats to River Markets (YC P26) on raising $8.5M, led by Haun Ventures. Four months ago, Oscar Levy and Antonin Parrot started River Markets to build the financial infrastructure prediction markets need to become a global asset class. Today, they’re already working with trading teams that include several of the top 10 traders by volume on Kalshi and Polymarket. Behind every raise like this are countless investor conversations, deck shares, and documents moving behind the scenes. Congrats to the River Markets team! Thanks for trusting Papermark with your fundraise. Excited to see what comes next.

  • Every document that gets shared eventually gets asked about. Who opened it. When. From where. Did they finish reading. Did they download it. Did they accept the NDA. The audit log has the answers. Inside every Papermark document, the Visitors tab records: → every view, with timestamp, visit duration, and completion rate → every download, single file or bulk → every email verification, when the viewer confirmed identity → every NDA or agreement response, timestamped and tied to the visitor → every feedback submission → every link access, tracked through the sharing link Data rooms extend the same coverage. The Viewers tab shows who entered, which documents they touched, whether the invitation was sent and accepted, and whether the viewer is internal or external. Filter by date range. Search by user or activity. Export the log when compliance asks for it. By the time someone asks, the log has been building for months.
