Jun Zhang, MD, PhD, vice president of Oncology Research at OSF HealthCare Cancer Institute, shared promising research for people facing lung cancer at a recent national oncology conference. By leveraging an AI-assisted approach to lung cancer screening (LCS), OSF Cancer Institute found it can significantly improve patient uptake of low-dose CT (LDCT) exams and help detect cancer earlier.
