Air Permitting Reform Win! Tuesday’s decision by the D.C. Circuit to unanimously reject a challenge to the EPA’s Project Emissions Accounting rule is a significant win for manufacturers in America. The NAM and industry partners intervened in this case to defend the rule's streamlined and commonsense approach to New Source Review permitting under the Clean Air Act. Tax policy is far more than numbers on a spreadsheet. At a recent press briefing, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt shared some of the stories from the NAM's 50-state collection of manufacturer success stories showing how the Working Families Tax Cuts are leading to #ManufacturingWins all across America. Among the stories highlighted at the press briefing: Pivot Manufacturing in Arizona made the largest equipment purchase in company history after the 2025 tax law provided long-term tax certainty. Winton Machine Company - Engineered & Manufactured in the USA in Georgia is on track for its best year ever in 2026. Ketchie Inc. in North Carolina expanded its workforce by 25% following investments supported by the tax law. Jergens, Inc. opened a brand-new facility—and after H.R. 1 became law, Jergens made that new facility even larger. In addition to producing more, Jergens is able to pay people more and meet growing demand, thanks to H.R. 1’s No Tax on Overtime provision.
