Day 3 | GTA SME LOOP Training — From Learning to Action! We successfully wrapped up the final day of Phase 1 training under the GTA SME LOOP Programme! Over the past three days, our SMEs have engaged in practical learning, reflection, and hands-on activities designed to strengthen their businesses and prepare them for growth. As we close the classroom phase, we now embark on the next chapter — two months of intensive coaching! Through tailored coaching and field-based support, our SMEs will have the opportunity to apply the knowledge gained, address business gaps, strengthen their operations, and turn their goals into measurable action. Day 2 of the GTA SME LOOP Training: Turning Business Insights into Action! Yesterday, our SMEs continued their GTA SME LOOP journey under the IYBA-SEED Project Programme, diving deeper into the practical realities of building and growing sustainable enterprises. The day focused on strategy, competition, compliance, business mapping, and financial understanding. Through Coca-Cola & Porter’s, participants explored how to better understand their competitive environment and strategically position their businesses for greater opportunities. The sessions then moved into compliance, highlighting the importance of meeting the right standards and putting strong business practices in place. Through the GQ Map and Money Tree, our entrepreneurs gained practical tools to visualise different aspects of their businesses, understand how they connect, and take a closer look at their money flows. More than just a training session, Day 2 was about asking the right questions, gaining new perspectives, and turning business knowledge into practical action. GTA SME Loop Training: Phase 1 Underway! Yesterday, we kicked off Phase 1 of the GTA SME Loop Training, bringing together selected SMEs for a practical learning experience focused on strengthening their businesses and preparing them for growth. The session covered Goal Setting & SWOT Analysis, helping entrepreneurs assess their current business position, identify opportunities and challenges, and set clear, actionable goals. Participants also engaged in Bag Making & Process Flow, gaining practical insights into production processes, workflow efficiency, and how to structure their operations for better performance. It was a great start to the 3-day training, combining business strategy, practical skills, and peer learning to equip SMEs with tools they can apply directly to their businesses. We concluded our implementation support visits under the Inclusive Entrepreneurship Programme with a visit to Africa Tech Space , a valued partner hub driving entrepreneurship and innovation. During the visit, we engaged with the Africa Tech Space team to reflect on the implementation of the programme and hear firsthand how entrepreneurs are applying the Inclusive Entrepreneurship Curriculum to strengthen and grow their businesses. These conversations provided valuable insights into the programme's impact and the opportunities to further support inclusive entrepreneurship.
