Today marked the final day of our 2026 Wacky Workdays! We closed out the summer program with breakfast, raffles, and some time to relax and connect as a team. From spirit days to team activities, this year’s Wacky Workdays gave us plenty of opportunities to have some fun and make great memories together. Most importantly, thank you to our team for showing up every day for our customers and for each other. It’s a pleasure to work alongside such a dedicated group of people.

It's out with the old and in with the new at George Mason University's basketball court inside Eaglebank Arena. This week, our team had the opportunity to remove, transport, and store nearly 150 hardwood panels that make up the current court as GMU prepares for a brand new playing surface set to debut this October. Projects like this require careful planning, precise handling, and a team that knows how to move valuable assets safely. We're proud to partner with George Mason University and always appreciate the opportunity to take on unique logistics projects like this one.

Today, the Interstate family remembers and honors Ronald W. Gallier (June 2, 1931 – July 23, 2026) whose leadership, wisdom, and commitment helped shape our company for more than two decades in a leadership capacity. Ron brought exceptional experience, integrity, and professionalism to every role he served, and his contributions were numerous. He was instrumental in leading Interstate's successful achievement of ISO 9001 Quality Management System registration, reinforcing our culture of quality and continuous improvement that continues to guide our organization today. He also played a significant role in expanding our government contracting capabilities through the successful acquisition of our GSA Multiple Award Schedule. Throughout his career at Interstate, Ron became known as the person who could be counted on to solve problems, strengthen relationships, improve processes, and mentor others. His calm leadership, practical wisdom, and unwavering commitment to excellence earned the respect of employees, customers, and business partners alike. His legacy lives on in the company he helped strengthen, the customers he supported and the countless lives he influenced. For the fifth consecutive year, Interstate Logistics has partnered with OMA (Office Moving Alliance) and AMT in France to support a meaningful mission. As part of the annual commemoration of the Battle of Belleau Wood, members of the United States Marine Corps Band traveled to France to perform at ceremonies and venues honoring a shared history between our nations. This year, it was members of both the 2nd Marine Division and 6th Regiment Bands. Through the detailed planning and execution led by Denis Asseraf and the team at AMT Transfert, transportation was provided for both the musicians and their instruments, helping ensure every performance could take place without interruption. We are proud to continue this partnership and grateful for the opportunity to support those who serve while strengthening our global connections.
