Late summer is a great time to enjoy the outdoors — but don't forget to protect yourself from ticks! Ticks remain active through the late summer and into the fall. While most tick bites are harmless, some can spread illnesses such as Lyme disease, Rocky Mountain spotted fever and ehrlichiosis. A few simple precautions can help you and your family stay healthy while enjoying everything the season has to offer. #StayHealthy #TickAwareness #TickSafety #OutdoorSafety #HealthyLiving

Molina Healthcare of Washington is collaborating with partners to provide on-the-ground support for members and communities impacted by the Spokane wildfires. As Excelsior Wellness’ Indian Trail facility undergoes repairs from fire damage, services are continuing in the neighborhood with the support of the Molina MyHealth Mobile Unit at Yoke’s Fresh Market – Indian Trail. Excelsior clinicians remain the primary providers, offering medication support, care coordination and health screenings for local families, with the mobile unit helping bring these services closer to home. Our team is also checking in with members and supporting our communities by providing face masks, information about local resources and access to recovery services. Thank you to all our partners and team members who are working with us to help families stay safe, informed and connected to care at this time. We’re all in this together. As part of Molina’s commitment to the communities we serve, we recently announced a $20,000 grant to The Idaho Foodbank. This funding will help The Idaho Foodbank’s efforts to procure, store and distribute over 25 million pounds of food statewide. This donation builds on our ongoing partnership with The Idaho Foodbank, where Molina team members have spent time volunteering to help pack and distribute food to families across Idaho. In a state where over 250,000 Idahoans, including over 75,000 children, do not have consistent access to nutritious food, this donation will support families during the summer months and beyond. At Molina, we aim to support communities when needs are greatest, including during periods that can be overlooked. The Molina Healthcare of Indiana team was proud to participate in Cradle Indy's Bridging the Gap Conference, joining hospital leaders, public health professionals and community organizations committed to improving maternal and infant health across central Indiana. With infant mortality in Marion County being 50% higher than the national average, the conference provided an important opportunity to listen, learn and collaborate with those working on the front lines to address health disparities and improve outcomes for mothers and babies. At Molina, we believe meaningful partnerships are essential to advancing healthier communities. We're proud to work alongside organizations like Cradle Indy that are connecting families with the resources, care and coordinated support they need during pregnancy, childbirth and the first year of life. #MolinaIN #MolinaHealthcare #MaternalHealth #InfantHealth #CommunityPartnerships #PublicHealth #HealthyFamilies

Do you know what psoriasis is? Psoriasis is a chronic (long lasting) skin condition that happens when the immune system builds skin cells too quickly. It’s often caused by genetics or triggered by stress, illness or certain medicines. Although there’s no cure for psoriasis, your doctor can help you manage your symptoms with medication and lifestyle changes. #PsoriasisAwarenessMonth #Psoriasis #SkinHealth #DoYouKnow
