Our annual Intern Expo was the perfect way to wrap up the 2026 Summer Internship Program! 👏 Interns from departments across Northwest Georgia and other locations wrapped up the summer by presenting the projects they worked on during their internships at the expo, organized by our University Relations team. Congratulations on all your accomplishments! 🤩

Last week, members of the Mohawk team attended the annual Whitfield Education Foundation Grant Presentation Ceremony, where Mohawk was recognized as both an Exemplary Corporate Sponsor and a Foundation Sponsor, alongside many other outstanding local businesses and organizations. It was inspiring to hear from K-12 teachers in Whitfield County Schools who received grants to implement innovative projects in their classrooms. We are proud to support local education and invest in the future of our community! 👏 🍎

A big thank you to our Commercial Manufacturing Team in Glasgow, Virginia, for adopting a section of River Road near their facility and committing to regularly pick up litter from the ditches. 👏 The team has previously worked to clean up the area, but they officially adopted the roadway earlier this year and pledged to maintain regular trash pickups. Thank you, Glasgow! We appreciate your commitment to taking care of your community! 💪

Mohawk recently had the pleasure of sponsoring this year's Back to School Bash with the Latin American Association of Northwest Georgia this past Saturday. 📚 Thanks to the support of our volunteers and community partners, over 800 local students are now ready to kick off the school year with backpacks full of supplies. Huge thanks to everyone who donated and helped make a difference for students across Whitfield County, and to the LAA for hosting such a great event! 👏

We're proud to invest in the next generation of leaders! Last week, we welcomed 22 rising high school seniors and college freshmen to our Calhoun Campus for Mohawk's annual Future Leaders Week! During the week, students explored career opportunities at Mohawk by shadowing employees across multiple departments, touring our facilities, and participating in hands-on leadership and professional development sessions. Congratulations to this year's participants! 👏

Congratulations to our teams in Eton, Georgia, on achieving several safety milestones! 👏 The Eton Recycling Center has officially surpassed over 1,000+ days injury-free! This accomplishment is part of other safety achievements at the facility, with the Color Center reaching 1,700+ days injury-free and the Fiber Systems Warehouse surpassing over 1,400 days injury-free! Thank you to every associate whose hard work and dedication to safety made these milestones possible. 🎉

For the second consecutive year, Team Mohawk participated in the annual Lake Cleanup organized by Fear My Heart. Employees from various facilities volunteered to help clean local waterways in Southeast Tennessee (Lake Soddy Daisy) and Northwest Georgia (Lake Allatoona). After the cleanup, the plastic bottles collected during the event were transported to our recycling center in Summerville, Georgia, where they will undergo our Continuum recycling process and be recycled into EverStrand and PET Premier carpet! ♻️ Thank you to everyone who volunteered their time to help keep our communities clean. 👏

We're excited to welcome our newest Sales Academy cohort to Mohawk! 🎉 This six-month development program is designed to prepare recent college graduates for careers in Commercial Sales. Participants will engage in hands-on training, receive mentorship, and gain real-world experience, all while building their industry knowledge at our Calhoun and Dalton locations. Upon completion of the program, they will transition into roles on Mohawk Group's Commercial Sales team. Welcome to Mohawk, and congratulations! 👏
