About us

Outbound tactics have become intrusive noise, while inbound strategies leave teams waiting. It is time to bridge the gap and connect with buyers where intent actually happens. Midbound is a B2B website intelligence platform and data infrastructure that delivers person level insight across the entire funnel. We help marketing and sales teams uncover the dark funnel by identifying anonymous website visitors at the person level including the 97% who never fill out a form and showing exactly which ads keywords and campaigns are attracting real ICP buyers. Midbound Cloud is the engine behind it. Through a lightweight tracking pixel or API teams can embed person level website identity directly into their own products and workflows without building the infrastructure themselves. Most agencies don't share their full tech stack. ColdIQ just hit $7M ARR and revealed everything. Here is the complete breakdown: 1️⃣ Content Engine LinkedIn generates 100+ leads monthly for them. The founder Michel has 71k followers. Team accounts add 275k more. They use: → Taplio for content ideas and inspiration (or try Shield, Podify) → Notion for content calendar and planning (Airtable works too) → Scripe to study specific authors' styles YouTube brought 2k subscribers from just 14 videos: → Tella for async video creation (Loom is another option) → vidIQ for discovery and ideation (TubeBuddy also works) Their blog drives 100k+ visitors every quarter. 30% comes from SEO now. Free mini-tools and programmatic pages did this. Tools they use: → Claude Code to build these tools (or Cursor, Replit) → AirOps for programmatic SEO (Letterdrop is an alternative) → Ahrefs for keyword research (Semrush or Similarweb work) Newsletter has 10k active subscribers. 40%+ open rates. They send with: → beehiiv for weekly issues (ConvertKit [archive], Substack also work) 2️⃣ Outbound System They serve 80+ B2B clients with outbound services. Their entire engine runs on Clay for: → Prospect research → Enrichment → Personalization → Workflow automation → Signal-based targeting Plus specialized tools: AI Agents: Relevance AI, n8n (Make alternatives) Sales Engagement: Instantly.ai, lemlist, Expandi (Smartlead, Reply.io work) Lead Sources: Apify, Prospeo.io, Exa, Openmart (Apollo alternative) Contact Data: Wiza, FullEnrich, Prospeo.io, LeadMagic (BetterContact, Ocean.io options) Intent + Retargeting: PredictLeads, Common Room, @Vector, Fibbler, Midbound 3️⃣ Operations Stack Team size: 35 full-time employees. We crossed $7M ARR at ColdIQ, helping 267+ clients scale their GTM engines. Here's every tool that keeps the business running, by pillar: 1️⃣ Content Engine LinkedIn is our biggest inbound channel: 100+ leads a month. That's driven by my own account (63K+ followers) + other team members (300,000+ followers combined). The stack behind it: • Taplio for inspiration and ideation • Notion for the calendar • Scripe to surface what specific creators are publishing YouTube is the slower compound play. I crossed 1.5K YouTube subscribers from 20 videos • Tella for screen and video recording • vidIQ for topic research On the SEO side, we ship 2 articles a week and pull in 100k+ quarterly visitors. About 30% of that now comes from free mini-tools and programmatic pages we built at scale. • Claude Code to build the tools and pages • AirOps for programmatic SEO workflows • Ahrefs for keyword research And ~10,000 newsletter subscribers with 40%+ open rates, sent through beehiiv. 2️⃣ Outbound System 80+ B2B clients are on retainer for our GTM services, and the whole operation sits on top of Clay: enrichment, personalization, research, workflow automation, signal-based targeting. Claude Code handles a surprising amount of the work now, from list building to email copywriting to automating campaign creation. Everything else is specialized: • AI Agents: Relevance AI, n8n • Outreach: Instantly.ai, lemlist • Lead Sources: Prospeo, Apify, Exa, Openmart • Contact Data: Wiza, FullEnrich, Prospeo, LeadMagic • Intent + Retargeting: PredictLeads, Common Room, Vector 👻Fibbler, Midbound If I had to rebuild this from zero tomorrow, Clay and Claude Code would be the first two I'd buy, before anything else. 3️⃣ Operations Stack Team is 35 FTEs plus ~12 fractional freelancers. Keeping that running takes: • n8n and Claude Code for internal automations • Airtable, Notion, Supabase for databases and documentation • Slack and Google Meet for comms 4️⃣ Inbound Funnel ~100 qualified B2B meetings a month come through here. • Default routes the leads • GA4 + Wistia for analytics and the VSL • Usermaven for attribution • Webflow + Vercel for the website Re-engagement runs on: • Customer.io for email • Kondo for LinkedIn inbox management 5️⃣ Sales Stack Last month we closed +$1M in new ARR with: • Attio as CRM • Qwilr for proposals • Attention for AI meeting notes 6️⃣ Billing & Finance We're rolling out Hyperline for the productized side: quoting, invoicing, and collection in one place. Around that: • Ramp for expense and treasury • Stripe, Revolut, Mercury for billing and banking P.S. We’re always hunting for the next tool that can help us scale. What's the one in your stack you'd recommend?

You're probably wasting your website visitor data! Seeing someone visiting your site, and then sending a cold email, would not get you more positive replies. The data is gold. But gold is useless if you don't know what to do with it. Tools like RB2B, Vector 👻, Snitcher, and Midbound will tell you who showed up. That part is solved. The part you must not skip is what happens next. Not every visitor deserves the same message. Where they landed tells you everything about where they are in their buying journey. 👉 Landing page or blog post They are in awareness mode. The very top of the funnel. They do not know you yet. They are trying to figure out if their problem is real and who can help. Do not pitch them! Provide value instead. Share something they would genuinely want to read. Tell them about the pain you solve. Ask if they want to learn more. Get them on a newsletter with their consent. Basically, you just need to hold their hand in their discovery phase. Do not rush the relationship. 👉 Case study page Now we are talking. They know they have a problem and they are actively looking for a solution. This is mid-funnel. They are evaluating. Hit them with a lead magnet. A white paper. A webinar invite. Something that offers real value upfront in exchange for more context about where they are in the process. You are not asking for a meeting yet. You are earning the right to have one. 👉 Pricing page or book a demo page They were ready to pull the trigger and something stopped them. This is the bottom of the funnel. Do not overthink it. Reach out ASAP! Tell them where they can book a demo. Offer a free trial. Remove whatever friction got in the way. Every hour you wait here is a lead cooling off. ☠️ In summary: - The data tells you who visited. - The page tells you what they need. - You then reach out with the right strategy. Which page do you think converts the most visitors into replies: awareness, mid-funnel, or bottom of funnel? Drop your answer below.

joining the Midbound crew as a GTM Advisor/Growth Engine Architect! 🚀 🚀 quick back story... 2.5 years ago, Sebastian interviewed me for my first tech role at dealhub. round 3: cold call simulation. i was drowning in imposter syndrome, feeling like an alien in the tech ecosystem. sebastian didn't just make me feel welcome that day. he actually got "booked" on my mock call. life has a funny way of weaving stories together. a few months later, circumstances brought me to tel aviv, turns out my new place was literally around the block from him. for the next 1.5 years, we weren't just coworkers. we were neighbors, conspirators, brothers in the grind. i'd be sprawled on his couch while he and eli ran meetings in the next room. customer acquisition cost. lifetime value. total addressable market. i was getting a masterclass in gtm just by existing in their orbit. sebastian showed me what clay was before anyone else cared. Eli was the rep i studied like game tape - watching him close deals was like watching jordan hit fadeaways. proximity is the ultimate teacher. you don't learn gtm from courses. you learn it from breathing the same air as people who live it. we've scattered across time zones this past year. sebastian and eli building midbound, me building my own systems. but the frequency never changed. the way we see the game, the hustle, the respect for the craft. now our worlds are colliding in the best way. i'm helping them architect their growth engine. not just gtm strategy, but the actual infrastructure: content operations that scale, systematic reddit growth, seo frameworks, geographic expansion mechanics. we're building systems where their team can literally speak to an agent, get content created, update their site, turn conversations into blog posts. the whole content machine automated but still authentic. similar paths. similar independence. similar understanding that growth isn't about tactics - it's about building machines that compound. excited to help sebastian and eli turn midbound into something that doesn't just grow, but grows intelligently. Massive rocket ship ahead LFG!!!!  Shawn Tenam ⚡️ gtm engineer..Looking to have a system like this?? my DMs are open, but not for long. 🙂↔️ 🚀 ps.Yes, screenshot is the Hermes agent. ( check it out on github if you don't know). In action onboarding his new clients. next level!

What our $7,000,000/year funnel looks like: (It added ~$4M ARR last year & booked > 1,500 meetings) 1️⃣ Lead Generation We attracted ~330,000 unique visitors to our website in 2025. They came from: - Automated Outbound - LinkedIn publications - LinkedIn Ads - Google Ads - SEO Software used: FOR OUTBOUND → Intent Signals: PredictLeads, Common Room, Trigify.io, Clay → Sales Engagement: Instantly.ai, lemlist, Expandi → Data Enrichment: Prospeo, FullEnrich, Clay → Data Sourcing: Clay, Openmart, LinkedIn FOR INBOUND: → SEO: AirOps, Ahrefs → Ads: Fibbler, LinkedIn → Content: Taplio, Scripe, Notion 2️⃣ Lead Capture To convert this traffic, we rely on a few mechanisms, i.e: - Lead Magnets & Mini-Tools, to collect email addresses. - De-anonymization technology, to re-engage visitors. - VSLs, to articulate our offers as clearly as possible. Software used: → Visitor Identification: Instantly.ai, Midbound, Vector 👻 → Mini-Tools: Claude Code, Lovable, Vercel → VSL Hosting: Wistia on Webflow 3️⃣ Lead Management When leads don’t convert directly, we: - Run outreach campaigns to warm leads that were scored & segmented prior. - Nurture leads via our Newsletter & Email Marketing sequences. - Connect on LinkedIn & nurture leads through content. Software used: → Newsletter: beehiiv → Email Marketing: Customer.io → Lead Scoring: Clay, OpenAI, Claude → Workflow Automation: Relevance AI, n8n 4️⃣ Lead Conversion Then all that is left is to close these leads. This mostly happens via video conferencing on Google Meet. Followed by proposals being sent via email. And contracts being signed digitally. Software leveraged: → Sales Enablement: Attio → Meeting Notes: Attention → Quoting/Billing: Hyperline P.S: The strongest part of our funnel is, by far, our lead gen: Syncing LinkedIn Ads, Content & Outbound is producing so many leads… that we don’t need to be 100% perfect lower down the funnel. Let me know if you'd like us to run this for you!

Drumroll… here’s what we shipped We just launched a native integration with Clay. This was overdue. More than 40% of our users were already on clay.com And still running their most important workflow through webhooks That’s insane! We kept seeing the same thing: People pushing their website visitors into Clay tables Using it as the starting point for their entire workflow So we built it the right way Midbound identifies the visitor Delivers enriched data only Validated emails. Guaranteed LinkedIn profiles Plus, actual buying behavior. Pages viewed, time on site, UTM, and real intent Then Clay does the heavy lifting Research Routing Personalization based on what people actually did on your site All in one place 🔥 No more duct taping your GTM Now your outbound starts from intent Not lists Midbound X Clay is live If you’re using Clay, this is a complete no brainer What integration should we ship next? UPDATE: We just launched native integration with lemlist. lemlist.com is already one of our customers. But more than that, it was one of the most requested integrations from our users. We kept hearing the same thing again and again. “If someone hits our pricing page, we need to reach out automatically.” Makes sense. ICPs checking pricing are not browsing. They are evaluating. And email is still the fastest way to start that conversation. So now you can automate it. - Midbound identifies a visitor landing on high-intent pages. - lemlist automatically initiates email outreach. Simple but powerful. Anyways, Midbound X lemlist integration is now live. And the next one is a big one. Let’s just say… if you like building insane workflows, you’ll probably like it. Stay tuned. Curious to hear from you. What integration should we add next? If you're already using lemlist or want to automate email outreach to your website visitors, sign up for free and kick off your unlimited free trial at https://lnkd.in/dP55JVg2

This GTM workflow helped us hit $7M ARR It consistently books us 100+ meetings per month: 1. Our team publishes 150 posts per month - 24 people publish LinkedIn content in our team - We incentivise w/ competition & cash prizes - We write around our prospects' pain points - We use Taplio + Scripe to find inspiration - We study hooks & visuals from outliers ↳ We’re launching a new competition for Q2 2026. The goal will be to get > 300 posts/mo. 2. We promote successful posts via Thought-Leader Ads - This generates extra views at ~$40 CPM. - We boost posts that generated meetings. - We check who booked from these posts. - We boost posts in front of this ICP. ↳ We also use LinkedIn Ads to pre-warm accounts for outbound. Thus, all channels work together. 3. We re-engage leads that interacted with our ads, site or content. - On the site: we use Midbound & Vector 👻 for website de-anonymization. - On LinkedIn: we use tools like Trigify.io & Jungler to catch social interactions. 4. We route all qualified leads to a Clay table. 5. These leads are scored/segmented & tiered. - Claygent does ‘advanced’ inbound research. - LLMs prompts segment leads into tiers - Tier 1 leads = manual outreach - Tier 2 leads = multichannel outreach - Tier 3 leads = automated email outreach 6. We enrich valid emails & phone numbers for prospects. - Wiza, FullEnrich, LeadMagic & Prospeo find us contact data. - These enrichments are performed inside Clay. 7. We re-engage leads via 1 or several channels, depending on tiering. - We use Instantly.ai, lemlist, Expandi or Nooks for sales engagement. - We try our best to send valuable, relevant messages. 8. This workflow booked us 1,500 meetings last year. - We’ll probably beat that in 2026. - This allowed us to reach $7,000,000 ARR and 36+ FTEs - Clients are closing 6-figure deals within 90 days, running the same workflow. Want this system built for you? Reach out in the DMs or via our site :)

Our funnel closed $307k MRR during Q1. Here's exactly how it works: We booked 200+ meetings and added $307k MRR so far in 2026. 100K unique website visits during Q1 All from a system we've refined over years. Here's the 4-step breakdown: 𝟭. 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 Traffic comes from 5 channels: Automated outbound, LinkedIn content, LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads, and SEO. We use Clay, Openmart, and LinkedIn for data sourcing. Clay, Prospeo, Wiza, and FullEnrich for enrichment. Instantly.ai, lemlist, and Expandi for outreach. Clay, Common Room, and Teamfluence for intent signals. AirOps and Ahrefs for SEO. Fibbler and LinkedIn for ads. Taplio, Scripe, and Notion for content. 𝟮. 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗖𝗮𝗽𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 Traffic means nothing without conversion. We capture leads through: Lead magnets (guides and mini-tools) to get emails. Visitor identification to re-engage anonymous traffic. Smart one-field forms to route leads to sales automatically. VSLs to explain our offering clearly. We use Default for routing, Lovable and Vercel for mini-tools, Wistia on Webflow for VSLs, and Instantly with Midbound for visitor ID. 𝟯. 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 Not everyone converts immediately. So we run inbound-led outbound to scored ICP leads. We connect on LinkedIn and let content do the nurturing. We send email sequences. And we keep them warm through our newsletter. Stack here: beehiiv for newsletter, Customer.io for email marketing, Clay with OpenAI and Claude for scoring, n8n and Relevance AI for automation. 𝟰. 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 Final step: closing. Calls happen on Google Meet. Proposals go out via Qwilr. Contracts get signed in PandaDoc. We track everything in Attio. And Attention handles meeting notes. The secret? Our lead generation is so strong that we don't need a perfect funnel downstream. LinkedIn Ads + LinkedIn Content + Outbound working together = more leads than we can handle. Which of these tools are you already using?
