Help Make-A-Wish Nevada (and me) find our next Events Manager! This position will report to me and serve as our expert on logistics, deadline management, and vendor relations! Needed: Highly organized and motivated human who loves spreadsheets (and software apps that work similarly to spreadsheets), checking things off a list of milestones, keeping all of us on track, has an amazing personality, and excellent soft skills working with multiple vendors and events all at the same time! For decades, Linda has been a dedicated champion of Make-A-Wish Nevada. As the founder of the beloved Fashion Luncheon, she has helped raise critical funds that have made countless life-changing wishes possible for children facing critical illnesses. Long before that, Linda and her daughter, Melissa Akkaway, generously volunteered their time by leading wish discoveries, helping children find their heartfelt wish. Her unwavering commitment, compassion, and leadership have left an incredible legacy: one that continues to inspire our mission every day.
