Just wrapped our Q2 earnings call.
We're making solid progress transforming Lumen Technologies, but what excites me most is the new category we're helping create: enterprise networking for #AI.
Unlike any other telecom, we are combining our infrastructure, our programmable network, and a connected ecosystem to make networking quick, secure, and effortless.
Over the last decade, networking grew more complex because telecom ceded innovation. The software industry added tools, applications, and technology layers to help the physical network keep up.
Lumen is stepping up and bringing innovation back into the network.
With the acquisition of Alkira, Inc., we are able to help customers connect from virtually anywhere to anywhere with the simplicity, security, and agility that is needed today.
Customers are already seeing transformational outcomes:
- Koch reduced multi-cloud network implementation time from 8 months to 1 day
- Michaels Stores connected 1,400+ stores to Google Cloud in weeks with no capex and lower operating costs
Our focus on outcomes is why we’re simplifying our product portfolio and moving capital toward high-growth markets where Lumen can win.
We are becoming a different kind of company. Customers see the differentiation. And they’re voting with their business.
You can see it in the numbers. Strategic revenue grew 14% this quarter. NaaS adoption dramatically outpaced the market. And 100 and 400 gig waves in NA Enterprise revenue grew nearly 11% year over year, while sales grew nearly 35% year over year.
We’re executing with discipline. We have customer demand, stronger capabilities, and a clearer economic model.
Our pivot to growth isn’t a slogan. It’s math.
Thank you to all our #Lumenaries for the hard work behind this progress!
P.S. Did I mention that Gartner said we’re the company to beat?
