130 Lafayette, rising above its neighbors in SoHo, recently celebrated its much-anticipated topping out! This 25-story mixed-income residential building in Lower Manhattan will soon welcome residents and visitors alike, offering them access to some of the most sought-after views in the city. We would like to extend our thanks to the project team for their tireless efforts in making this project a reality. A look back at the projects that shape our future. 760 Madison Avenue in New York, New York: A modern landmark on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. Located at the northwest corner of Madison Avenue and East 65th Street, the development brings together the Giorgio Armani retail flagship, Armani Ristorante, and 11 private residences within a 14-story building. The project included the demolition of three existing commercial buildings while preserving key Landmark Façade elements. New façade construction features hand-set limestone, oversized tilt-and-turn windows, and a series of setback terraces that blend the site’s architectural character with contemporary design. The building also includes dedicated residential support spaces and amenities focused on health, wellness, and fitness, while Armani Retail extends from the ground floor through the third floor. Today marked a major milestone for 130 Lafayette Street in Manhattan: our Topping Out Ceremony! This project holds a special place in my heart. I’ve been involved from the very beginning, and it’s incredibly rewarding to see how far we’ve come. I’m especially grateful to Leeding Builders Group for giving me the opportunity to be part of this project, and to Trammell Crow Company for trusting our team with their very first Manhattan development project. A special thank you to Mooregroup Corporation for their exceptional concrete craftsmanship, dedication, and hard work that got us to the top. A look back at the projects that shape our future. Wildflower Studios in Astoria, New York: The world’s first vertically stacked film studio. The 775,000 square foot commercial film studio situated in the Ditmars Steinway neighborhood of New York City. It is located on an industrial five acre lot bound by the Steinway Creek and Steinway Piano manufacturing warehouse. The limited area of the site combined with generous height limitations inspired the idea to create a vertical film studio with two levels of sound stages a first of its kind. Some projects leave a lasting impression long after the final walkthrough. Today we're looking back at The Benson, a boutique luxury condominium developed by Naftali Group on Manhattan's Upper East Side. With just 15 full-floor and duplex residences, hand-carved Indiana limestone, custom Christopher Peacock kitchens, expansive private landings, and an impressive collection of resident amenities overlooking Central Park, every inch of the building was designed with exceptional craftsmanship in mind. When a project is built to this standard, the finishing phase demands the same level of attention. Our team, brought on by the wonderful Leeding Builders Group was proud to perform the final punch list work that helped prepare these residences for occupancy, ensuring every space reflected the quality and attention to detail that define The Benson. Looking back on projects like this is a great reminder that successful construction isn't just about reaching the finish line. By opening our jobsites, sharing our experience, and investing in emerging talent, we’re not only showing the next generation how the industry is built, we’re building the future together.
