  • Ten dedicated Kyrene teachers from seven campuses recently completed more than 40 hours of intensive, in-person professional learning through LETRS (Language Essentials for Teachers of Reading and Spelling). Led by Kyrene K-3 Literacy Facilitator Dr. Raquel Ellis, participants engaged in deep study of evidence-based practices that strengthen how we teach elementary students to read, spell, and write. This rigorous training reflects their commitment to continuous growth and their passion for ensuring every student develops strong literacy foundations. Their dedication to Early Literacy supports Kyrene's Strategic Plan and helps us create brighter futures for all learners. Please join us in celebrating these educators for their hard work and commitment to excellence!
