Out of an incredibly competitive application process, these innovators stood out for their cutting-edge solutions aimed at transforming water management, critical mineral recovery, and sustainable production of critical minerals. (Boston, MA) – Wastewater purification and mineral recovery 🔹 FAST Metals (Stamford, CT) – Extracting valuable metals from tailings 🔹 BANIQL (San Jose, CA) – Water-saving, selective leaching technology 🔹 Kunin (Chattanooga, TN) – Novel ion-exchange system recovering critical minerals Over the course of six months, selected startups will receive targeted mentorship, pilot planning support, and direct connections to mining corporations to get innovative technologies pilot-ready and aligned with real-world industry needs. 💧 ⛏️ The program is supported by the U.S. Economic Development Administration Build to Scale Program and is part of the National Science Foundation (NSF) #GreatLakesRENEW Engine.
