This year, we’re welcoming a new class of team members to our Accelerated Development Program (ADP)! ADP is a professional development program for emerging leaders who demonstrate our Core Values, initiative, and dedication. Participants from across our companies and a variety of departments will learn from senior leaders, strengthen their understanding of each business unit, and gain insight into day-to-day operations across Kokosing. As part of the program, participants will visit active project sites to see how preconstruction planning translates into field execution—connecting estimating, scheduling, means and methods, safety planning, quality control, and coordinated crews and equipment to deliver the work. #Kokosing #KokosingDevelopmentProgram

Another successful Help Build Hope and Habitat for Humanity project is complete—thanks to Kokosing’s 2026 Midwest co-ops! For their capstone, the students teamed up to build 50+ interior walls for a Habitat home that will be built in Mt. Vernon, Ohio. Their hard work, collaboration, and commitment to getting the job done were evident throughout this new challenge. At our New Lock at the Soo Project in Sault Ste. Marie, MI, the 2026 summer construction season is progressing very well! Greater than 46 monoliths are in progress, and the lock floor construction teams have placed in excess of 60,000 cy of concrete this year. The 600-person project team recently gathered to recognize and celebrate the great accomplishments so far this season. It’s amazing what can be accomplished when great crews come together for one goal, one mission, one project. Kokosing will be presenting at the 2026 Sewage Sludge Incineration Conference (SSICON) and hosting a tour at MSD’s Lemay Incinerator facility. On July 28, Kokosing will present “Building a Fluid Bed” with Veolia and will also share what attendees can expect from the Lemay Incinerator facility tour the following day. Kokosing looks forward to highlighting MSD’s Project Clear—where Kokosing and its JV partner, Plocher Construction Company, are constructing six new fluidized-bed incinerators and delivering critical facility upgrades. Kokosing removed a 20 year old floating steel digester cover at the Southerly Water Reclamation Plant, which will be replaced with a new fixed concrete cover. The new cover will provide superior thermal insulation and improved longevity for the digester, while also helping reduce methane emissions and improving the ability to reuse biogas to power the facility. #KokosingIndustrial #TogetherWeCanBuildItAll
