  • Today we announced we've signed a definitive agreement to acquire Resonant Sciences LLC, marking a significant expansion of our defense business. Based in Dayton, Ohio, Resonant's team of approximately 250 people, more than 90% of whom hold security clearances, designs and delivers advanced radio frequency and mission systems for U.S. national security customers, from next-generation antennas and radomes to electronic countermeasures. The company is a global leader in low-observability design, with electronics, apertures, and radomes qualified on more than 20 commercial and defense airframes. Resonant brings to Joby a rapidly growing defense technology business: - $100M + in trailing-12-month revenue, up ~40% year over year - H1 2026 bookings more than 3x prior year, with backlog more than doubled - High-teens adjusted EBITDA margins, expected to expand We believe this transaction delivers a scaled defense growth platform that accelerates autonomy and helps expand the value of Joby's existing technology stack. Learn more about Resonant Sciences today at 4:00 PM ET on Joby Recon Ep. 05 “An Overwhelming Advantage” with CEO J. Micah N., hosted by Ryan Bodenheimer. Full release in comments ⬇️

One year ago, we announced BLADE was joining Joby. Twelve months later: - More than 50% year-over-year growth in Q2 seats sold. - The best Q2 in BLADE history. - The most new fliers to and from NYC airports since 2023. Results strong enough to raise our full year revenue outlook. The foundation for electric air taxi service is already flying.

Today, we published our Q2 2026 shareholder letter. The aircraft, the infrastructure, the operating experience and the customer demand are all coming together as we approach commercialization. ✈️ eIPP flights expected to begin in September. We intend to fly a week-long campaign of piloted, vertical takeoff and landing flights across the Dallas-Fort Worth area, laying the groundwork for future commercial operations. We continue to target carrying our first passengers in 2026. 📋 Strongest quarterly progress yet in the fifth and final stage of FAA type certification. 🏭 Five electric air taxis flying, including our first FAA-conforming aircraft, with 12 more in various stages of production. 🤝 A new joint venture with Toyota Motor Corporation builds on more than seven years of collaboration and lays the groundwork for high-volume commercial production. 🏙️ Our partnership with Atoms, founded by Travis Kalanick, will develop and finance a network of transportation hubs serving air taxis and autonomous vehicles across our U.S. launch markets. 🚁 In Q2, BLADE delivered more than 50% year-over-year growth in seats flown and $36.2M in revenue. 💰 We ended the quarter with $2.3B in cash and short-term investments and raised our full-year revenue outlook to $115M to $125M . Live webcast at 5:00 PM ET / 2:00 PM PT. Read the full shareholder letter ⬇️

Every transportation revolution has had one thing in common: It only scaled once the infrastructure existed. 🚆 Rail needed tracks and stations. 🚗 Cars needed roads and gas stations. ✈️ Aviation needed airports. ⚡🛩️ Advanced air mobility needs vertiports. Today, we're taking an important step toward building that backbone. Atoms and Joby Aviation are joining forces to accelerate the rollout of vertiport infrastructure—starting in New York, Florida, California, and Texas. Together, we want to help build the network that will enable electric air taxis to become part of everyday transportation, working alongside cities, airports, regulators, utilities, and partners across the ecosystem. Travis Kalanick changed how people move through cities with Uber. Now, he has assembled an exceptional team at Atoms to help build the physical infrastructure that can unlock the next chapter of urban mobility. Atoms recently raised $1.7B led by Andreessen Horowitz (a16z) and brings deep expertise in Infrastructure acquisition, Development, Electrification, Permitting and Operations at scale. Great aircraft alone won't transform transportation. Infrastructure will. Looking forward to building it together. Kudos to John Wetzel, Daniel McGill, Colby Goff, Mark Morkos, James Kite, Audrey M. Lin, Crystal Huynh and others. https://lnkd.in/gxvife_S
