  • Inversion is hiring across ALL disciplines. Including: Reentry. As part of the Reentry team, you’ll help Arc survive, maneuver, and operate through one of the most extreme environments any vehicle can face: hypersonic flight back from space. Thermal protection, aerodynamics, structures, GNC, testing – every discipline has to work together when a spacecraft hits the atmosphere at Mach 20+. • This is an anechoic chamber – a room designed to minimize RF reflections and external interference to accurately characterize antenna performance under near free-space conditions. We just completed testing for a portion of Arc's RF system. The goal: validate that our system performs as expected, including through our thermal protection system. Early results are very encouraging as we continue validating flight hardware ahead of Arc's first flight.

  • Our drogue parachute deploys at supersonic speeds – making it a fundamentally different engineering challenge than the main parachutes for Arc. Made of Kevlar, the drogue is designed to withstand the extreme aerodynamic loads and temperatures in the wake of Mach 2+ speeds post reentry from space.   Every drogue is cut, sewn, and tested in-house. We're not just designing the hardware, but building the manufacturing capability to produce it at scale.

Inversion is building vehicles that return cargo from orbit to anywhere on Earth in under an hour. Their engineers use frontier AI to move fast, but they don't want to worry about data controls and compliance paperwork. This is why they use Consus. Inversion was one of our first customers, and their AI footprint has only grown since: multiple models are used in production, every request is processed within ITAR controlled infrastructure, and prompts are never stored or used to train a model. When their engineers want to try a new model, it's a one-line change, not a new integration and another security review. "Consus has been the accelerator we need to get the latest models as quickly as possible while still maintaining compliance." - Alex Tacescu, Director of Software, Inversion Space Teams like Inversion are exactly why we built this. • Inversion is hiring across ALL disciplines. Including: Avionics As part of the Avionics team, you’ll build and integrate the electrical systems that allow Arc to operate from launch through hypersonic reentry and precision landing. You’ll work across flight computers, power distribution, telemetry, sensors, RF communications, batteries, embedded software, vehicle harnessing and more. • A key differentiator of Arc is its high maneuverability. That means Arc can precisely shape its path through the atmosphere, access a wider range of landing locations, respond to changing mission conditions, and create unique, sustained flight environments for hypersonic testing.
