Despite rising costs, American families continue to prioritize family-friendly retail experiences. Our latest survey found: > 95% of parents say their children request specific stores, restaurants, or experiences. > 46% say deciding where to go is a shared decision between parents and children. > 54% spend more than planned because of their child's influence. While some Class B mall owners have pulled back, Second Horizon Capital sees opportunity. Since its 2021 founding, the impact investment firm has acquired seven large-scale, retail properties it says had been underinvested, including its latest: Florida’s 710,000-square-foot Melbourne Square.
