About us

HRC Online was created to bring a fresh approach to online education, getting our founder named as one of HR Magazine's Most Influential Thinkers 2023 (The first CIPD training provider ever to be listed). HRC Online take an assessment-first approach to the study, breaking the content into smaller sections to maximise the impact of your learning time. HRC also allocate all learners to a single point of contact called a learning engagement mentor. They build a study plan, arrange a series of one-on-one video meetings, and share their calendar with you so that you're never alone. To really get the most benefit from your study, we also created a series of open sessions called LET'S TALK HR! where our panel of over 40 expert talks about current affairs and their approach to situations that also connect back to the CIPD syllabus, ensuring you able to get the most out of your studies. All sessions are also cast LIVE on LinkedIn

  • One of the most common questions from aspiring HR professionals is: “Can I get a CIPD qualification without any HR experience?” The good news is that yes, you absolutely can start your CIPD journey without prior HR experience. https://lnkd.in/eykXG3Ja

Here are 4 ways to support your people through the January slump (considering it’s officially the saddest day of the year, a.k.a. Blue Monday) Your team is back from the holidays, the weather's miserable, and morale is at rock bottom. You can't bring back the sunshine or rewind to Christmas. Yet, you absolutely can do something about how your team is feeling right now. 1. Lead With Empathy ↳ When leaders validate how people feel, employees feel more psychologically safe. 2. Provide Flexible Work Arrangements ↳ Flexibility is also a mental health tool. Use it when your team needs it most. 3. Make Mental Health Support Visible ↳ Don't assume people know about existing support. Actively promote it and make it easy to access. 4. Create Mini Getaways ↳ Even small things give people a reason to push through work. What's one thing you're doing this January to support your team? #HumanResources #HR

10 things leaders shouldn’t absolutely be doing in 2026 ⬇️ 1. Micromanaging. 2. Calling the team a family. 3. Treating HR like the referee. 4. Seeing flexibility as a privilege. 5. Rewarding burnout instead of results. 6. Overloading people without clear priorities. 7. Avoiding difficult conversations just to be liked. 8. Making employees feel stupid for asking questions. 9. Expecting quality work without any training opportunities. 10. Not appreciating the team enough, but being the first to criticise. What would you add to the list? #Leadership

If you want a group of people nodding “yes” to every decision your organisation makes… You certainly don’t need HR. HR is absolutely not there to follow the CEO or management blindly. Their job is to make the organisation better by: → Challenging decisions before they become problems. → Highlighting the potential consequences of new procedures. → Calling out bad behaviour, whether it comes from leadership or the team. → Suggesting smarter strategies that benefit both the business and employees. Sadly enough, 47% of employees still don’t trust HR. (Cezanne) Without that trust, HR can’t support, guide, or protect your people. What’s one myth about HR you’d like to see me talk about? #HumanResources #HR

  • If you’re currently working in HR and are looking to take the next big step in your career into more senior, advisory roles, a CIPD Level 5 might seem like the right fit. However, you need to consider several factors before taking the leap, as this qualification requires a significant time and financial commitment, and it’s best to evaluate whether you’re ready. Many job descriptions for your dream roles now request this qualification, as employers value it as essential for roles beyond entry level administration. It’s okay to take your time with this decision, and it’s also why we’re breaking down everything you need to know about a CIPD Level 5 qualification, so you can be sure of your decision. This guide breaks down what a CIPD Level 5 involves, who it’s for, what you’ll gain and whether it’s ultimately worth the investment. https://lnkd.in/ee7929PP

Make 2026 the year your name comes up for an HR promotion, without you having to chase it. A CIPD can undoubtedly help you secure one. A CIPD qualification signals three qualities: ✔ Credibility - you’re an expert and can be trusted. ✔ Commitment - you’re serious about the profession. ✔ Capability - you’re ready for more responsibility. That’s why: → CIPD is the most requested qualification in HR job ads. → CIPD qualified professionals earn around 12% more. → Roles asking for CIPD pay up to £4,400 more. (Source: CIPD) One of my biggest goals this year is to help people become CIPD-qualified without burning out. If a promotion is one of your goals for 2026, then drop me a DM. I’ll set up a 14-day free trial on our platform! P.S. Even if you aren’t after a promotion and want to get your foot back in the game by learning some solid fundamentals, you’re welcome to slide into my DM’s too. #HumanResources #HR #CIPD

Most CIPD providers save money by giving minimal feedback. We spend hundreds more to do the exact opposite. Here’s why 👇🏻 CIPD's minimum requirement is a detailed summary with developmental points, plus detailed feedback on any questions you fail. That's it. Most providers stick to exactly that because: a) It's cheaper. b) It requires less effort. We don't do that. Every single assessment you submit gets: 1. A detailed feedback summary 2. Question-by-question feedback (whether you passed or failed) 3. Three critical focus areas per question: → Addressing the verb (did you answer what was actually asked?) → What you did well (because you need to know your strengths) → How you can improve (specific, actionable guidance) Is this more expensive? Yes. Detailed, personalised feedback per question is time-consuming. It costs us hundreds of pounds more per learner in marking alone. We could follow the base guidelines and save that money. But we won't, because feedback helps you improve, build confidence and get better with every assessment. You're investing time, money, and effort into your CIPD. You deserve feedback that actually helps you grow. That's the standard we hold ourselves to. How do you like to receive feedback? - Want a 14-day free trial of an online CIPD qualification to level up your career in HR? Drop me a DM, and we’ll set your account up! #HumanResources #CIPD #Teams #LearningandDevelopment
