  • As the new school year approaches, we're proud to support students in our communities through A Precious Child's annual Fill-A-Backpack program. Over the past two months, teams across Colorado and Wyoming collected 153 backpacks and more than 3,890 school supply items to help students start the school year with the tools they need to succeed. Support continued at A Precious Child's warehouse in Broomfield, Colorado, where employees volunteered to sort donations, organize supplies and pack more than 640 backpacks for local students and families. Thank you to everyone who donated supplies and volunteered their time to help students head back to school with confidence. #HenselPhelpsCommunity #APreciousChild #FillABackpack

  • An internship at Hensel Phelps goes beyond one role, one jobsite or one type of experience. This summer, our interns have toured active jobsites, strengthened their estimating knowledge, supported local communities and spent time building relationships with one another and our teams. Along the way, they have seen how many different experiences and roles can contribute to a career in construction.

  • El Paso Water celebrated its new four-story, 75,000 SF Main Administration Building with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and board meeting. For our project team, the milestone represented more than a completed building. Throughout construction, close coordination helped maintain safe conditions for El Paso Water employees working next door and supported a smooth move into the new building without disrupting daily operations. “This event was a source of great pride for both me and the team,” project manager Carlos Chavez said. “It was extremely rewarding to see the attendees so impressed with the building and genuinely happy with the final result.” We’re proud of the collaboration among EPWater, the design team, our trade partners and local code officials that made this milestone possible as we move into the project’s final phase. #ElPasoWater #Teamwork #ElPasoConstruction

One of the biggest myths about working with a large general contractor? That we're "too big to care." In this episode of On the Line, Corporate Director of Supplier Diversity Brad Lewis, ECMCA and Regional Director of Supplier Diversity James W. Harper III, ECMCA put that myth to rest. When our trade partners succeed and local communities thrive, so do we. That's why we invest in trade partner programs and free trainings designed to help small businesses grow and compete with confidence.
