  • This week, Hanwha Power welcomed the 주식회사 피버즈(Feverz Inc.) video production team to our Jupiter and Stuart facilities in Florida. The Feverz team spent the week capturing footage and conducting interviews at both workshops, documenting the equipment, people, and work that define Hanwha Power's on-the-ground operations every day. It was a well-run production and a pleasure to host a team that professional. The finished corporate video will debut at two major industry events this fall: Gastech Exhibition & Conference 2026 in Bangkok, September 14-17, and the Turbomachinery and Pump Symposium in Houston, September 22-24. After the conference premieres, the full video will be available on the Hanwha Power YouTube channel. To the Feverz team: thank you for the work you put into this. We look forward to seeing the final cut. youtube.com/@hanwhapower #HanwhaPower #Gastech2026 #TPS2026 #CorporateVideo #PowerGeneration

  • In 2023, a 7E gas turbine at the Daesan site in South Korea demonstrated 100% hydrogen combustion at baseload. No pilot oil. 5.5 ppm NOx. That result is a demonstration milestone, not a commercial product offering, but it is a real machine running real hydrogen at full scale, not a laboratory simulation. That milestone sits at the end of a documented progression: a 9E unit in the Netherlands co-firing at 30% hydrogen since 2018, a 7F in the United States at 40% since 2023, and the Daesan 7E at 100% in a controlled demonstration. Each step is a validated co-firing ratio increase with documented NOx performance on hardware already operating. The development pathway is in the field, not on a roadmap. For commercial operation, FlameSheet supports hydrogen co-firing up to 80% depending on frame and application. That is the capability available to operators today, and it represents a meaningful emissions reduction pathway on turbines already running natural gas. The combustion side of hydrogen readiness gets most of the attention. The compression side is equally consequential and less discussed. Blue hydrogen produced through SMR or ATR reforming generates CO2 as a byproduct. Capturing and transporting that CO2 to pipeline or sequestration pressure requires multi-stage, high-reliability compression operating continuously. Hydrogen liquefaction, charging infrastructure, and BOG handling for LNG-to-hydrogen transition projects carry the same requirement: compression that does not fail when the process depends on it. FlameSheet handles the combustion. CO2 compressors handle the capture. Hydrogen compression handles the transport. For operators building a hydrogen readiness case across their fleet and facility, the technology stack is proven and available today. Where is your organization in the hydrogen readiness conversation: early evaluation, active planning, or already co-firing? • Happy #FunFactFriday 💚 A question worth asking right now: if the natural gas turbine running at your plant today could switch to hydrogen tomorrow, would you know? Not hypothetically. Operationally. What would need to change in the combustion system? What co-firing ratio is your current hardware qualified for? What does 40% hydrogen do to your NOx profile? These are questions operators are starting to answer in procurement cycles, not R&D timelines. This week's fact is grounded in real field data from units already co-firing hydrogen at commercial scale. The fuel transition is moving faster than most people realize. #HanwhaPower #FunFactFriday #HydrogenEnergy #FlameSheet #GasTurbines

  • Two centrifugal compressors are headed to Mexico for one of the country's leading glass and beverage manufacturers. Glass production and beverage processing both require continuous, oil-free compressed air with zero tolerance for contamination. A single purity failure can compromise an entire production batch. The compressors going into service here are built to ISO 8573-1 Class 0 standards specifically because that application leaves no margin for error. This is the kind of reference that doesn't make industry headlines but represents exactly what Hanwha Power's compressor business does at scale: engineered-to-order equipment matched to a specific process, shipped and commissioned to keep a production line running reliably. Congratulations to Guilherme Viotto Gimenez and the Latin America sales team on the shipment. #HanwhaPower #Compressors #IndustrialSolutions #Mexico #PowerGeneration

  • Happy #FunFactFriday ⚖️ There's a version of this fact that sounds like a magic trick: a component that weighs as much as a full-grown elephant, spinning at 3,600 RPM, balanced to within the weight of a paper clip. That's not an exaggeration. That's a gas turbine rotor. The consequences of getting it wrong are severe. A rotor imbalance that would be imperceptible at rest becomes a destructive vibration force at operating speed. Which is why rotor balancing is one of the most precise and unforgiving processes in the entire maintenance cycle. This week's fact is for every plant engineer who has watched a rotor come off the balancing stand. #HanwhaPower #FunFactFriday #GasTurbines #RotorServices #Engineering

  • In an air separation unit, compressor oil contamination isn't a quality issue. It's a plant shutdown. A single oil droplet in the process stream can compromise product purity across the entire facility. For operators running semiconductor fabrication, battery manufacturing, steel production, or pharmaceutical-grade air separation, ISO 8573-1 Class 0 isn't a specification preference. It's the minimum acceptable standard, and there's no recovery from a contamination event mid-production run. 100% oil-free compression is the engineering answer. Hanwha Power's integrally geared turbo compressors deliver ISO 8573-1 Class 0 certified air across the full ASU demand spectrum, from 700 to 200,000 Nm3/hr, through the SMX Pro and SE-series platforms. The MAC handles main air compression, the BAC handles high-pressure boosting above 25 barA, and the MAC-BAC Combo enables dual-service compression within a single gearbox for processes with varying pressure and flow requirements simultaneously. The performance numbers behind the platform matter for continuous 24/7 ASU operation: up to 3% better efficiency and 4% wider operating range compared to conventional models, driven by in-house CFD-optimized impeller and diffuser design. At baseload, those percentages translate directly to sustained reductions in power consumption and operating cost over the life of the equipment. Over 1,000 main air compressor units are operating worldwide. The reference list reflects what Class 0 certification and continuous operational reliability actually require to sustain in the field. For compressor inquiries: https://hubs.ly/Q04qX8xL0 What's the biggest reliability or purity challenge you're managing in your current compressed air system? #HanwhaPower #AirSeparation #Compressors #IndustrialSolutions #ProcessEngineering

Hanwha Power is at the Emerson Ovation Users Group conference this week in Pittsburgh, and we came with something new to show. The team is launching AutoTune 4.0 at booth 203, our automated combustion and emissions tuning solution now fully integrated with Ovation's control system. The 4.0 release adds new CDMS compatibility options for plant engineers and controls teams. AutoTune continuously monitors combustion dynamics and adjusts fuel split ratios in real time to maintain stability and compliance with emissions standards across the full operating envelope. Now it does that natively within the Ovation ecosystem. Representing Hanwha Power this week: Ben Saunders, MBA, MSCS, Global Product Manager for Digital and Controls; Clayton Jorgensen, Combustion and Digital Products Engineer; Marc Paskin, Combustion and Digital Products Manager; Levi Throop, Combustion and Digital Products Engineer; Mark Husak, F-Class Product Manager; Cody Martin, Regional Sales Manager; Steve Ziegler, Sr Technical Lead, Controls & Commissioning; and Eric Christian, Data Scientist. If you're in Pittsburgh this week, booth 203 is worth a stop before the conference wraps Thursday. What's the biggest friction point your team manages between third-party combustion controls and your plant DCS today? #HanwhaPower #EmersonOvation #AutoTune #CombustionTechnology #GasTurbines
