The best summer memories have one thing in common. You weren't thinking about the power. You were focused on family, friends and making the most of the moment. That's what reliability does. It stays in the background so life can stay front and center. As weather patterns become less predictable, preparing ahead isn't just about power. It's about protecting the moments that matter most. What adds to a home value today? For years, the answer was simple: kitchens, bathrooms and curb appeal. Today, the answer might surprise you - backup power, battery storage, smart home technology and energy-efficient upgrades help homeowners stay comfortable, connected and prepared when life doesn't go as planned. Because home value isn't just about how a home looks anymore. It's about how it provides peace of mind. How do you think homeowner priorities are changing?

When it comes to backup power, one size doesn't fit all. Some homes require large-scale energy solutions engineered for unique property needs and serious power demands. This Generac industrial system was expertly installed by Mod Electric to deliver reliable backup power at scale. The power may go out. ⚡ Life doesn't have to.

At Generac, we think resilience is about more than keeping the lights on. It's about helping families prepare for the moments that matter most. That includes our pets. 🐾 When power outages occur, changes in routine, temperature and environment can create stress for animals just as they do for people. Taking a few simple steps ahead of time, such as keeping extra food and medications on hand, updating identification information and preparing an emergency kit, can help keep pets safe and comfortable during unexpected disruptions. How does your household prepare pets for severe weather or power outages? 🔗 We've shared a few tips in the comments. 👇

July marks one year since we opened our Beaver Dam, WI manufacturing facility. Over the past year, this facility has played an important role in expanding Generac's manufacturing footprint and supporting the production of a wide range of generator solutions to meet customer needs. Investments like Beaver Dam are about more than facilities. They're about building capabilities, creating opportunities and strengthening our ability to deliver the products businesses rely on when they need power most. As we reflect on the facility's first year, we're proud of what has been accomplished and grateful to the teams whose work brings the facility to life every day. Here's to the first year, and to what's ahead!

For this Washington, DC museum, backup power is about more than keeping the lights on. It's about preserving history. It houses artifacts that date back centuries, many of which require carefully controlled temperatures and humidity levels to prevent deterioration. As a result, a significant portion of the facility's climate control infrastructure needed to remain operational during an outage. That's where Generac stepped in. Working alongside project partners, Generac helped design a 3.2 MW Modular Power System featuring eight paralleled natural gas generators to support critical building operations, including the environmental systems essential to protecting the museum's priceless collection.

Powering a facility is one thing. Powering a lifeline for an entire community is another. When back-to-back hurricanes impacted Florida, Feeding Tampa Bay, which serves nearly 5 million people across 10 counties in the Tampa area, relied on its Generac Industrial Energy backup power solution to keep operations running and food available for the people who needed it most. Just months after installation, Hurricanes Helene and Milton put that system to the test. While grid services in the area were down for days, Feeding Tampa Bay remained operational and continued serving its community. "The Generac generators saved the day. They literally did. We would've lost hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of food." -Senior Director of Facilities & Disaster Response This is what energy resilience looks like: helping critical organizations continue their mission when communities need them most.

Too often, preparedness becomes a conversation only when severe weather is in the forecast or a major outage makes headlines. But the organizations, communities, and homeowners that navigate disruption best aren't reacting in the moment. They're the ones that planned for it long before it happened. Preparedness isn't about predicting every event. It's about building the confidence and flexibility to respond when the unexpected occurs. Whether it's extreme weather, aging infrastructure, growing energy demand, or operational disruptions, resilience is becoming a foundational part of how we think about the future. The most resilient systems share one thing in common: reliability is built in from the start. At Generac, we're seeing a shift. Resilience is no longer viewed as a response to extreme events. It's becoming a broader conversation about continuity, reliability, and peace of mind. That's a shift worth paying attention to.

The way homeowners think about energy is changing. Electricity costs continue to rise, utility rate structures are becoming more complex and extreme weather events are putting increasing pressure on grid reliability. As a result, homeowners are becoming more engaged in how they produce, store, manage and protect their energy. Rising utility costs, evolving rate structures and growing reliability concerns are pushing more consumers to take control of their energy future. That's why integrated solutions that combine solar, battery storage, energy management and backup power are becoming increasingly important. At Generac, we're focused on helping homeowners simplify energy management while gaining greater resilience and independence.

Aging in place isn’t just about accessibility anymore. It’s about resilience. More families are balancing care for aging parents while raising their own. That shift is changing the conversation at home. It’s no longer just ramps and wider doorways. It’s asking: what happens when the power goes out and critical needs can’t wait? Reliable power is becoming essential to independence, safety and peace of mind, especially as more people choose to stay in their homes longer. At Generac, we believe resilience means helping people stay independent and prepared for whatever comes next. What’s being overlooked in the aging-in-place conversation?
