Outside the studio, Carolina cherishes time with her husband and daughter, and you'll often find her baking up something delicious, getting crafty, or exploring a new destination, because great design inspiration can come from anywhere in the world! Design Lyfe Meet Louie - Chief Barketing Officer at G. Alvarez Studio. 🐾 He doesn't do Revit, but he's fluent in emotional support, mid-morning zoomies, and knowing exactly when you need a break. We were honored to participate in Puppy Love, a design forward community event hosted by Wrk Lab in partnership with MillerKnoll. Each selected firm was invited to transform a sculptural dog into a one-of-a-kind art piece that reflects its unique perspective. Our design was inspired by Yayoi Kusama, embracing repetition, bold color, and immersive pattern as a nod to her iconic visual language. We are so proud to share that our piece received the award: Audience Pick of the Litter. It was an inspiring evening celebrating creativity, collaboration, and the power of design to bring people together, with proceeds benefiting a local dog rescue. Grateful to be part of such a thoughtful and talented design community!
