What is your full circle moment? For Emily Davis, her moment began during her senior year of high school, when a chemistry teacher helped guide her through experiments on protein aggregation and denaturation. What started as a classroom project encouraged her to participate in a scientific poster competition—resulting in a scholarship to the university she hoped to attend. That experience developed a lasting curiosity of neurodegenerative diseases.
