    On Friday August 7, we experienced an email compromise. We're sharing what happened so our peers and partners can stay alert. A phishing email reached one of our team members through a trusted contact. They clicked what presented as a link to an RFP, and that access let attackers bypass our 2FA and our enhanced security settings. They then used the Friends account to send phishing messages to people in our network. We've quarantined the threat and removed the unauthorized access we found. We're also implementing even stricter security protocols to mitigate this kind of credential theft going forward. 📣 If you received an unexpected email titled: "Friends From The City-RFQ & Investment Partnership" or "REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL - PARTNERSHIP" please delete it.
