About us
Einstein Bros. Bagels, the largest fast-casual bagel franchise in U.S, was founded in 1995 in Lakewood, Colorado. The concept was created to offer guests a neighborhood gathering place with the warm, inviting atmosphere and the same high-quality of a bakery-style café. Featuring an innovative menu, Einstein Bros. Bagels serves freshly-baked bagels, made-to-order hot sandwiches, signature shmears, specialty coffees and teas, baked sweets and more. Bakers rise with the roosters and bake all day long to deliver guests the Einstein Bros. Bagels experience based on the principle of spreading joy, happiness and laughter to start the day. The brand began franchising in 1995 and opened its first non-traditional location in 1997. Since then, it has become a leading brand in the breakfast segment, with a total of 700 locations across 40 states. Einstein Bros. Bagels is part of Bagel Brands, a subsidiary of Panera Brands, which includes Bruegger’s Bagels, Manhattan Bagel, and Noah’s NY Bagels. Across all Bagel Brands there are just under 1,000 locations.
