One of the most useful ways I use AI is to ask it to disagree with me. I recently sat down with Jim Anderson at Google Cloud’s North America Partner AI Forum and talked about a practice I call a “cold eyes review.” Rather than asking AI to make my argument stronger, I ask it to challenge the argument: What am I missing? Where is the logic weak? What assumptions am I making? What would someone who disagrees with me say? It is a simple shift, but an important one. AI is very good at helping us build a case for what we already believe. It can be even more valuable when we use it to expose where we might be wrong.
