The nonprofit organizations that will thrive over the next five years are the ones getting these five things right: 1. They diversify funding instead of depending on any single source.  2. They pay leadership what the market requires.  3. They build succession plans before they need them.  4. They meet talent's changing expectations.  5. They invest in strong governance. None of this is out of reach. Read the full article on 'The Tightening Market for Nonprofit Leadership' here: https://lnkd.in/gvJTQYYP

  • We are working with Rock The Street, Wall Street (RTSWS) on the search for their Chief Development Officer. Now in their 15th year, RTSWS is building on successful growth and a footprint across more than 30 cities, empowering high school and university students, especially young women, by bringing financial and investment fundamentals to life and expanding pathways into the capital markets and financial industry. Based in Nashville, Tennessee, the Chief Development Officer will serve as RTSWS's lead fundraiser, overseeing a comprehensive development strategy across corporate, foundation and individual giving. The CDO will expand multi-year corporate sponsorships, deepen relationships with donors and industry leaders and help secure transformational investments that position RTSWS for continued growth and impact. This is an opportunity for an experienced development leader to help shape the philanthropic strategy of a growing national and international organization while the nonprofit educates, prepares, and advances the next generation of financial and investment leaders. Should you join the search committee? It's an opportunity to influence one of the most important decisions an institution will make. It's also a significant responsibility. Strong search committees define the leadership capabilities the institution needs for its next chapter. That requires time, thoughtful discussion, an open mind, and a commitment to confidentiality. Before saying yes, ask yourself: • Do I have the capacity to fully engage in the process? • Can I evaluate candidates through the lens of the institution's future, not my own perspective? • Am I prepared to represent the interests of the entire community? • A recent webinar we hosted, 𝗦𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗨𝗽 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿, reinforced an important theme: successful CEO transitions are intentional, strategic, and deeply relationship-driven. During the conversation, Louisville Public Media leaders Kenya Young, John Schriber, and Abby Shue, alongside executive coach Nicole Johnson-Scales, shared candid insights and practical strategies on how organizations can invest in the transition process to create stronger outcomes and long-term leadership success drawn from their own own leadership transition experiences and expertise. We've highlighted a few of our favorite takeaways below. 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗲𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗮 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝗲𝘁 𝘂𝗽 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀.

Please read on for an important note from DSG Global: Scammers are increasingly impersonating executive search firms, consultants, and legitimate career opportunities to target executives and organizations alike.   At DSG Global, the safety and trust of our clients and candidates is paramount. Before responding to unexpected outreach, always confirm that the sender, firm, and opportunity are legitimate. Be wary of messages from personal email accounts, unfamiliar domains, messaging apps, or unverified profiles, and never share payment information or sensitive personal details with an unconfirmed contact.   As a proud member of Association of Executive Search and Leadership Consultants (AESC), DSG Global is committed to helping clients and candidates recognize the warning signs of fraudulent recruitment activity and understand what legitimate executive search communication looks like.
