Battery technology remains fundamentally inadequate for long-range and high-performance military air operations. Current advanced battery technologies would only power combat aircraft over a fraction of the Pacific Ocean, and the need to recharge in contested environments where resupply can't be guaranteed presents a significant operational limitation. CycloKinetics' propellants deliver up to 32% greater energy density compared to conventional Jet A, extending range for fighter aircraft, strategic bombers, reconnaissance platforms, and drones, and reducing the need for multiple aircraft or mid-flight refueling. Advanced propellants are only as valuable as the supply chain behind them. CycloKinetics' propellants are produced in the United States, with deliveries already underway under United States Department of War contracts. Our feedstock-flexible production process supports resilient domestic supply chains while enabling in-theater production capabilities in contested operational environments. Access to space depends on the ability to get more payload off the ground efficiently. Our propellants have increased energy density over traditional liquid kerosene rocket propellant, enabling rockets to carry greater payload mass while maintaining existing propulsion architectures. Improved payload capacity enables more efficient launches, expands operational capability, and increases access to space across both defense and commercial applications. Next-generation fighter jets, larger combat drones, and advanced weapons promise greater range and penetration into contested airspace. The real challenge lies not in the platform itself, but in the unseen forces that power it. As we share in our whitepaper, air superiority depends on both the plane's design and the energy that propels it. Read more. https://lnkd.in/eT-sh8yk

President Trump recently signed an executive order tightening supply chain waiver rules for U.S. defense contractors. Companies will now be required to prove they searched for domestic alternatives and present a plan to move away from prohibited foreign suppliers or risk losing contracts. Domestic supply chain resilience is central to how CycloKinetics was built. Our propellants are produced in the United States, with a feedstock-flexible production process designed to reduce dependency on foreign suppliers and support a resilient domestic industrial base. Propulsion technology is an overlooked but decisive tactical and strategic advantage. In the competition with China, the Indo-Pacific's vast maritime distances present unprecedented challenges for sustained air operations. By recognizing propellants as a strategic advantage rather than merely an operational requirement, the U.S. can extend operational reach, reduce refueling dependencies, and maintain a decisive technological overmatch.
