When Crusoe Sr Developer Relations Manager Emmanuel Acheampong organized HACK.CRUSOE, our first internal companywide hackathon, his goal was to get more employees building with Crusoe Managed Inference (MI), including people who had never used it before. As Emmanuel explains in a new Devpost case study, 73% of HACK.CRUSOE participants were first-time MI users, yet every submitted project reached production quality, with the top 30% confirmed for production and C-suite conversations underway. 🎉 The case study explores how Emmanuel and the Crusoe for Developers team designed a hackathon event accessible enough to attract broad participation while still producing projects with real production potential — and why Devpost for Teams was an important part of making that possible. Hitting it out of the park! ⚾️ Crusoe's Bellevue team celebrated their first-ever Bring Your Kids to Work Day with a Seattle Mariners game. The scoreboard didn't go our way, but our Bellevue families had a great time together regardless — great views, good company, and a lot of fun cheering section energy. We opened our Bellevue office in November 2025, and we're growing fast. Looking forward to many more outings like this as we keep building community here in the Pacific Northwest. That's a wrap on Ai4 - Artificial Intelligence Conferences 2026, North America's largest AI event. 🇺🇸 Four days of conversations around emerging AI technologies made one thing clear: enterprises want to manage complex infrastructure. They want secure, scalable, and cost-effective deployments that drive immediate results. That urgency is fueling a real shift toward open models (which are now just as capable as frontier closed-source models) at a fraction of the cost. But model quality alone isn't enough: for long-running agents, how well a model is served matters just as much as the model itself. Our highlight of the week? Watching Crusoe Principal Product Manager Alex Akesson lead "From Stack to Symphony," walking the audience through his framework for building infrastructure that performs as one system. 🎤 A huge thank you to our incredible booth team — Michael Yen-Chi Ho, Nir Levy, Alon Grosman, Ben Walters, Connor Guerrero, Diego Buntz, Fabian Oseguera, and Emmanuel Acheampong — for doing an amazing job representing Crusoe! 📸 A few moments from the floor. #Ai42026 #Inference #AIInfra #Finetuning

Security and compliance teams evaluating a cloud for production AI workloads tend to ask the same question first: who holds the encryption keys, and how fast can access be revoked if needed. Crusoe Cloud encrypts data at rest by default. For teams that need more control, Customer-Managed Keys for AWS KMS adds an option: bring and manage your own key in your AWS account, and grant Crusoe scoped, revocable permission to use it. Setup is one IAM role you create and control. It trusts a Crusoe role scoped to your project ID and grants only Encrypt/Decrypt on the specific key you choose. Your key never leaves your AWS account, every call shows up in your own CloudTrail, and you can cut access anytime by editing that role on your side. No support ticket required. This follows standard envelope encryption: Crusoe uses your key only to protect the data key, never your underlying data. Available now for AWS KMS. → https://lnkd.in/ejQCbvBn

AI factories are emerging as a new class of productive, investable infrastructure — turning compute into intelligence, usage and revenue. Yesterday, NVIDIA, Apollo, BlackRock, Blackstone, Brookfield, Goldman Sachs and KKR announced they'll mobilize over $500 billion in third-party capital for AI infrastructure. This will unlock the development of more of the AI factories Crusoe is built to deliver. Read more: https://lnkd.in/gshFdwB9

Crusoe is a Day-0 partner for NVIDIA AI Nemotron 3.5 Lightning, and is now available for inference on Crusoe Intelligence Foundry! Not every agent task needs a frontier model. Complex reasoning calls for frontier capability, while the high-volume, specialized tasks in an agent's workflow are best handled by models optimized for speed and efficiency. ⚡️ Nemotron 3.5 Lightning delivers exactly that: the fastest open model in its class for always-on agents — a customizable 30B MoE with 3B active parameters, distilled from NVIDIA's frontier Nemotron 3 Ultra. Own it, fine-tune it, post-train it, and deploy it anywhere agents run, from your on-premises RTX PRO to Crusoe Intelligence Foundry. Deploy Nemotron 3.5 Lightning today. → https://lnkd.in/eY45Ti8e

Governor Abbott is asking data center developers in Texas for real transparency — on energy, water, tax incentives, and ownership. We agree. It's the standard we've held ourselves to from day one. Here's what that looks like in practice: https://lnkd.in/etwQYQ2M

Tech companies are investing hundreds of millions of dollars into the workforce building AI infrastructure, partnering with community colleges and unions like the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) to develop curriculum that teaches construction skills tailored to data centers. 🦺 Developers are paying a premium for the next generation of carpenters, electricians, and skilled trades. As Lydia DePillis reports for The New York Times, hourly installation and maintenance jobs at data centers pay 42% more than similar jobs in other fields.
