About us

Whether your company has a new construction project that is in danger of missing a deadline, wants to lower its monthly utility bills, or needs to understand where the energy is being used, Critical Power Consulting can help you to answer important questions and map out the right electric utility solution for your business. Is the utility service installation jeopardizing an on-time completion? Are we on the right utility rate/tariff? Is my company getting the right type of electrical service? Can we lower our monthly costs by adjusting our work hours? Are we using electricity efficiently? Can we determine where and how much power we are using? Are we recouping all of our tenants’ electricity usage effectively? We need a lot of power in a short time frame, where do we start? Who do we talk to at the utility about this? If these questions sound familiar, and utility power is essential to your company’s success, you need CPC. CPC understands the critical need for power in all industries and the impact it can have on a company’s bottom line.

Looking forward to attending the 7x24 Exchange International Spring Conference in Orlando next week for the first time representing Critical Power Consulting, P.C. with Patrick Murphy PE, ATD, CEM, CBCP and Michael Wallace, MBA, PMP! I'm excited to spend a few days meeting people across the mission critical industry, finally putting faces to names and meeting many people in person for the first time, and learning from the conversations taking place around the future of data centers, power infrastructure, and the challenges our industry is tackling together. If you're attending, I'd love to connect. I'll be around the JW Marriott Grande Lakes June 7–8 and always enjoy meeting new people and hearing different perspectives from across the industry. Feel free to send me a message if you'd like to grab a coffee or a drink while we're there. Or contact me directly at (718)644-5357 or at BDeighan@cpowerconsulting.com See you in Orlando! #CriticalPowerConsulting #CPC #7x24springconference

  • One of the greatest things about CPC is the collaboration we experience every day. Everyone has taken a different path to get here, and Ben Mulrooney has helped us bring together a fantastic, diverse group of folks that works together and encourages success. Thanks for the shout out, Ben, and can’t wait to see what’s next!

⭐ 𝐂𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 - 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐲 𝐅𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞, 𝟐.𝟎 ⭐ This week’s spotlight is on a space that is becoming impossible to ignore in global infrastructure: critical power. One company that continues to stand out in this, is Critical Power Consulting, P.C., sitting right at the centre of modern infrastructure, where resilience, demand and performance all intersect. CPC operates at the intersection of power infrastructure, resilience engineering and mission-critical environments, supporting the systems that underpin data centers, digital infrastructure and high-reliability power demand across the US and increasingly on a global scale. And right now, this sector is under more pressure than ever. 𝐀𝐈 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐭𝐡. 𝐃𝐚𝐭𝐚 𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫  𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧. 𝐄𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧. 𝐆𝐫𝐢𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐬. 𝐀𝐥𝐥 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠: 𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞, 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫. A big part of what makes CPC successful is the leadership driving that growth. I’ve known Patrick Murphy PE, ATD, CEM, CBCP for a few years now, and what has always stood out is his ability to bridge both worlds, deep power infrastructure experience combined with a clear understanding of how AI and digital demand are reshaping the market. Patrick is a leader with real direction and intent around where he wants to take the business, leading from the front while remaining genuinely open to conversations and networking. From a personal perspective, those conversations have also helped me better understand how this space is evolving in real time, which has been invaluable. Over the last couple of years, CPC has experienced significant growth, including 150%+ headcount expansion, driven by increasing demand, strong project delivery and continued client growth. That momentum has naturally created ongoing opportunities for specialists who want to be part of a business actively shaping change and delivering complex infrastructure solutions. It’s been great to see the growth of the business over the last couple of years, and even better to see people I’ve had some involvement with over the years continue to develop and thrive within the business. This is a space that is only becoming more critical as infrastructure continues to evolve and I’m looking forward to seeing what the rest of 2026 holds for the team over at CPC. If you’re part of CPC, who deserves recognition from your side? And for my wider network, 𝐖𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐡 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐲 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐟𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐧𝐞𝐱𝐭 𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐤’𝐬 “𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐲 𝐒𝐩𝐨𝐭𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭”? 👇   #CriticalPower #PowerInfrastructure #DataCenters #DigitalInfrastructure #EnergyInfrastructure #GridResilience #InfrastructureEngineering #MissionCritical #AIInfrastructure #PowerEngineering #Electrification #EnergySector #EngineeringLeadership #InfrastructureGrowth ☎️ - +1 718-554-7573 ✉️ - B.mulrooney@brightsmithgroup.com
