During the U.S. Army’s Project Convergence Capstone 6 exercise, Soldiers independently operated Collins’ command and control software for the first time, using it to receive targeting data, fire solutions and mission updates needed to evaluate next‑generation fires concepts alongside the DeepFires launcher. Their on-the-ground feedback helped refine the system in real time, marking an important milestone in advancing autonomous command and control and supporting the Army’s future fires architecture.

As global air traffic becomes more congested and complex, air traffic controllers need more accurate surveillance data to safely manage the skies. Collins Aerospace and Etihad Engineering have signed a joint venture to create a nacelle MRO hub in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
