Most cache hit ratio problems don’t start with the request. They start with the origin response: a Set-Cookie on a static asset, a misapplied Cache-Control directive, or an ETag that causes revalidation thrash. Today we are shipping Cache Response Rules: a new rule type that runs after the origin replies but before the response is written to cache.
