What makes a strong FACT? A strong Focus Area Cohort Team (FACT) brings together companies with complementary capabilities and a shared approach to solving a mission need. When building your team, consider: • Does each company bring a distinct capability? • Do your technologies work together? • Does your team address all Focus Area problem statements? • Is your combined solution stronger than any one company working alone? Stage 1 applications close August 20 at 11:59 PM MT. Application: https://lnkd.in/gKBCFYST

Stage 1 applications are open, and we've received a few questions about the required informational paper. Here's a quick guide to what to include and what to avoid. Your informational paper has a two-page limit and should include: • The focus area(s) and problem statement(s) your team is addressing. • Validation of your team's Technology Readiness Level (TRL). • An explanation of your team, including each company's contributions and how your solution addresses the selected problem. Avoid including proprietary, controlled, or sensitive information. There are no NDAs in place during the application process, so all application materials should remain at the public release level. The informational paper is your opportunity to help reviewers understand your team, your technology, and how your solution aligns with the mission. Keep it clear, concise, and focused. Applications for cohort 2026.A are open until August 20, 2026 at 11:59 PM MT.
